H. Jack's Plumbing and Heating Akron

I am a local realtor, and HJacks is the only company I use and recommend for HVAC, Cooling, and Plumbing. In the most recent visit they helped a client of mine identify a potential plumbing issue in a house they are purchasing. It's great to have a company that has honest, competent employees, who are friendly and timely. HJacks isn't the cheapest company, but they're well worth what they charge.

They saved the day! They showed up in short order and fixed our bathroom leak. I will admit that they were not the first we called, but everyone else couldn't come till the next day and we had to shut off the water to the house to stop the leak, that would have meant going without water for over 24 hours, but H. Jack answered the call within 20 minutes of calling and made the repair.

Professional and great service. First I called and got a person not a robot 🙂. They were able to send someone out the same day, and showed up when they said they would.

It was a holiday weekend, and I know Larry would have probably liked to be elsewhere, but he was courteous, pleasant to talk to, and he did an awesome job. 5 stars all the way

replacement of water softener. Had used a previous plumber who was supposed to be 24 hour service but not able to help. H. Jack came quickly, diagnosed problem and was able to service the problem within a week.

I had a burst pipe in a wall. The company was very quick to get to my place within 3 hrs and quickly fixed the problem. Technicians were very professional and pleasant to work with. The job costs about $520+. The post-service customer service is also excellent.

This company charged me $165.00 to crack ONE NUT! (Pictured is what a $165.00 nut looks like, ONE FITTING!). Let me repeat that for you in case the shock of such an enormous rip-off didn't sink in: $165.00 to take ONE STUCK NUT off. Best part was AFTER it was done the guy looked at me and said "you know you could've just cut it right here and put a $15.00 Shark Bite line in?". After. AFTER! Bunch of thieves here taking advantage of people. Any company with ANY integrity would've mentioned that BEFORE doing $165.00 worth of work. Not H Jack's. They saw a way to charge me $165.00 for $15.00 worth of work and jumped right on it. Why didn't THEY just cut it and put an $15.00 Shark Bite line in FIRST? Why wait till AFTER the work is done to mention that? To take my money that's why. AAAAND NOW....! I have leak down stream at a connection. A NEW LEAK! Guess I'll just fix that on my dime and my time? Not sure how the owner of this company sleeps at night or looks at himself in the mirror.

Called after hours and they were able to come out that night to fix the problem! Friendly and efficient services, will definitively use them again.

The estimator, installation crew and office staff were very friendly, polite, and professional. They showed up when they said they would. They were very nice to my family and pets. Walked me through the entire installation and made sure I was satisfied. They even stayed until dominion showed up to pressure test the new line and said it was good. It was a little pricey but you get what you pay for.

These guys were amazing, quick response and professional. Went beyond to make sure everything was in good order..
