Kevin and the crew are very very knowledgeable about all their product as well as heating and cooling. They are always available for questions or if I have any issues they are out right away and get me taken care of. Also they are always up to speed with the current technologies that are available to enhance my usability with my HVAC system.

Kevin was down to earth and knew what he was talking about. I had a second quote and was not impressed with the salesman or the prices. It was an easy decision after seeing that Cass County prices where right on par and the friendly staff were here to help. I would definitely suggest Cass County to any one looking for HVAC repairs and replacement.

From start to finish, professionalism and workmanship were top knotch. Barry and office personnel were extremely personable and worked with us to be able to conquer on the Costco Lennox promotion.. I would put the quality of the install up against any competitor. Kevin and Kelly did an outstanding job! Wiring and HVAC system install is clean and flawless.

If you are reading reviews trying to find an HVAC provider, go no further, HIRE Cass County Plumbing and Heating..

    ZERO STARS!
3 years ago we purchased a furnace from Cass County Heating Inc. of Fargo. The purchase agreement states we are required to do an annual maintenance or the warranty would be voided. Fine, no problem. 1st yr maintenanced in early winter, completed in a hr., billed for 1 hr labor & 1 filter. Cost $130.
This yrs. annual maintenance done 1st wk. Jan., under 1 hr & serviceman suggested changing filter every 6 mons. opposed to once a yr., I agreed, purchased an extra filter.
    Total time...55 mins.
Imagine my surprise when bill comes & there is a 1.5 hrs. labor charge. I spoke to a woman about the bill, says she will have someone call me back. The man who called me back was someone I had spoken to a few times over the past 2 yrs.
In fact, I spoke to him last fall about purchasing a new AC unit as our old one wasn’t working properly. We planned to have them install a new AC this spring.
His reason for extra half hr labor charge was for the time the serviceman took to “drive” to my home.
That made absolutely no sense to me & the bill states the 30 min charge was for “labor” not “driving time” charge.
He repeated it was for “drive time” AND due to streets being snowy & icy so it took longer.
Asked why no “driving time” charge on last yrs bill & his idiotic reasoning was they were probably closer to my home that time. *Note-there was snow on the streets that time too*
I said that was nonsense, that I don’t charge my clients “drive time” to their homes, I charge them for the work I do while at their home.
He tries to back up his reasoning by stating if I were to purchase a new vehicle, I would be required to get an annual oil change or the warranty on my vehicle would be voided.
    Really? (I said in disbelief)
    REALLY ? (now in a
    sarcastic tone of voice)
I informed him that I had purchased a new 2018 vehicle last October & I could guarantee him if I choose not to have a yearly oil change the warranty on my vehicle would not in fact be voided.
He realizes I am not falling for his idiotic excuses so he offered to remove the “driving time charge” ($47.50) from our bill.
I said no....I would pay the bill in full, however we would no longer be using Cass Country Heating Inc. of Fargo for future furnace maintenance or for filter purchases & we certainly would NOT be purchasing our new AC unit we will be installing this spring from Cass Country Heating Inc. of Fargo either.

Great experience guy came out and was able to find out what was wrong with my central AC unit and fix it with in the hour. No new parts were needed made my day! My mind was thinking the worse. Highly recommend them. This is one year after One hour heating told me I'd have to replace an item on the unit do to low voltage and would cost 3-400!! Would
    Recommend to anyone and everyone

A guy came out and after 2 hours couldn't find the problem. When I signed the itemized bill, the charge was $161. Two weeks later when I got my CC information, they charged me $256.50. Apparently he figured it wrong. I would have thought they would eat the $95 because it was their mistake, but they charged me anyway. So when I came home yesterday, my furnace was off and my house was 65 degrees, so problem still continues after a $256.50 charge. I usually don't write reviews, but I am quite upset by this situation.

From the first interaction with a representative of Cass County Heating, to the installation crew actually arriving EARLY (that doesn't happen often), to the diligent work all day installing our new furnace and A/C unit, to the supervisor walking me through the operation and shaking my hand...it was a pleasure having them in our home. We asked for a QUIET A/C unit and I can't be more satisfied?! I literally have to look at the unit outside to know it's on. And this new Lennox system holds the temperature even all day and all night. WOW!!! And they tell me it will use 1/4 or less electricity to run. Cass County Heating isn't the biggest outfit in town...which is why I like them. I know I'm important to them. They are on the top of my HIGHLY RFECOMMEND list.

Great customer service until after the work was performed. Would score zero stars if it were an option. When questioning details about our bill, the owner hung up on us after freaking out and becoming extremely defensive. Would never recommend and, in fact, will recommend people look elsewhere for heating needs.

I bought a waste I'll furnace from them about 4 years ago. Waste oil furnaces are known for high maintenance. Since then, the customer service when I have had issues has been unexpectedly good. I am very thankful I purchased one from them.
