I had problem with my heat pump 09/05/2022. Bolton technician looked at it 09/07/2022. Advised me later in the day that it would be 2-4 months until the required part could be obtained or I could replace my $11,000-2 year-old-unit (installed 06/20/2020). It is an unacknowledged Trane product defect, so I contacted Trane. I was assigned an escalation specialist 09/27/2022. Trane will not admit defect but agreed that 2-4 months was an excessive amount of time to wait for a part. Escalation rep contacted Bolton for the part identifier on 09/30/2022. Bolton could not provide that information. Escalation rep and I kept pushing Bolton to get the part, it was identified and ordered on 10/05/2022, available 10/11/2022 and installed 10/12/2022. I got my heat pump fixed because I pursued things.
Bolton was going to let me be without heat in my home until November or January. I spoke to Mark Bolton on 10/12/2022 after my repair was complete. He provided plenty of excuses about how they do not know part numbers and are at the mercy of Trane and they were told it would be 2-4 months and
there is not one single thing they could possibly do about that. So if Bolton ordered the part on 09/07/2022, then why when contacted on 09/30/2022 was Bolton unable to provide a part number, order number or any of that type of information? Why after being pushed by the escalation rep and myself was there a part id and an order placed on 10/05/2022. Bolton was recommended by a neighbor who is a Trane engineer. They would not try to scam a Trane employee but Bolton was trying to scam me. Because I went through Trane, I caught it and prevented it. Homeowners beware if you employ Bolton Construction.

When I got the part number from Bolton, I looked it up online. Several suppliers had it in stock and available so I could have ordered and had it within a few days. It would have been an extra $850 out-of-pocket for the part but if given & choosing that option, the unit could have been repaired under two weeks.

I am an Army Veteran, as you continue to claim to be a helpless victim of the parts suppliers, I suggest you recruit and hire military. Veterans tend to be employees of high integrity, have excellent work ethic, and they get things done. I served with some outstanding U.S. Army logisticians. I contacted Trane and pushed until I got someone to assist me. I have also filed a complaint with the NC State Attorney General, if there is something rotten within the industry, that office should be able to investigate, identify the source, and get it cleaned up. The culprit is not of high importance to me, ensuring that the next Jane Doe Homeowner is properly treated is. Remember this quote, "I always wondered why somebody didn't do something about that, then I realized, I am somebody." This somebody is doing something, and challenges you to stop making excuses and start making things happen.

I cannot say enough good things about how Ronnie, Wade and the rest of the plumbing division handled the break in my water line. They were so courteous and helpful and did such an excellent job installing the new line. It’s wonderful and all too rare to find a business staffed by people who are truly kind and considerate in addition to being great at their jobs. Thank you, guys—you’re the best!

They installed a new AC and heating system. It was not an easy task as the air handler was in a crawl space between floors of the house and the compressor was down under the house. The hillside to get to it was very steep. They did an excellent job. Then they repaired the opening in the ceiling. They cleaned up after themselves very well.
These guys know their craft.

Mark Bolton and his team were wonderful! We had a water main supply line failure the week before Christmas. Even though they were busy, Ronnie and James came out right away to assess the damage and give a quote They were kind and professional. Jimmy and Chase came out quickly and did a fantastic job fixing the line and getting our water flowing again. We appreciate everything they did for us. We will definitely use their services again!

Bolton did a superb job of installing a replacement hot water heater at reasonable cost. Other plumbers who were contacted including the original plumber for the new home were either too busy or could not be bothered. In contrast, Bolton, even though they were inundated with work fitted me in. As a result they will the be our plumbing service from this point on. I truly cannot praise them enough based on their willingness to do this replacement and for their exceptional and courteous customer service.

Michael and Brandon were awesome, they did our 2nd pm service of the year, found a few issues with a different couple units, very descriptive with problem, and were on top of fixing the issues, look forward to having these guys come back out in the future again!

First time Brandon has been out to service my system. He was on time, friendly and professional. After introducing himself and asking for the location of equipment, he started taking care of business and when he was done he gave me a summary of his work and an assessment of my equipment which I appreciated.

On time and excellent worker. Bolton, as a company, is also great to deal with from Angie in scheduling to whomever they send for our plumbing or heating issues.

Old hot water tank expansion tank kind of exploded, causing a lot of water damage. Tank was tied into solar heating for floor radiant heating and domestic hot water. Aaron removed the old tank, checked for other possible leaks , and installed a new hot water tank. He was very thorough, polite, professional, timely, etc. highly recommend Aaron and Bolton.
