I bought a new Heating and AC unit from them in April of 2017. The unit was a two stage both for AC and Heating. The purchase included three years of scheduled maintenance once in the spring and once in the fall.

I recently had another Bryant company service the unit and this is what they discovered.

Upon inspection of the system I found the second stage wasn’t
wired at all and the thermostat wasn’t programmed for two stages. I rewired the AC, Furnace, and thermostat to accept both stages. I tested the furnace to ensure it would ramp up and down, and adjusted the gas pressure due to it being too high.

For the past three years I have not had the control of both utility cost and humidity that a two stage unit would have provided.

I would not recommend HH Hovey to anyone looking to buy or service a Bryant Heating and AC unit.

Our AC broke last Friday night at 6pm and it was hot and humid outside (90 + degrees). The repairman was there by 7pm and had our problem diagnosed and fixed within about 1/2 hour. Our technician was courteous and efficient. I would do business with them again!

Local company that genuinely cares for their customers. Very knowledgeable staff you can trust. Highly recommend them for any of your HVAC needs.

Hovey is about long-term relationships with customers and approaches each customer interaction with that point of view.

Dan is my hero ! I thought I had a natural gas leak, and was ready to shut the business down, until repaired. When Dan arrived, he smelled it to, but his trained nose and experience told him to ask more questions. He did mark the gas meter, and watched it for a few minutes to make sure no gas was flowing, then he took the extra time to climb on the roof and check all the gas piping. No gas leaks. What Dan's experience told him was ; to check for an unused sink that the trap had dried up and was letting sewer gas come into the building. Dan and a cup of water saved the day!

Fast service, but unprofessional. Gave an estimate on changing just the outside unit and didn't advice that the air handler need to be replaced also to get the best benfit. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Chris was on time, very helpful and professional. He explained the problem to me very well. Definitely recommend HH Hovey!

Keith came out late on a Sunday to fix our AC. Quick, knowledgeable, and friendly service. Had the issue diagnosed and up and running in 30 minutes.
