We definitely would recommend Carolina Comfort. While looking for a way to add a heat pump to an already existing oil furnace system, we asked for quotes from many different top rated HVAC companies in the area. I found that all who responded did so professionally. We asked for some custom tailored quotes from two and eventually we chose Carolina Comfort. The price was where it needed to be for us. I felt like they really understood what we were asking and came up with several options that gave us confidence in our current system, and the compatibility of the retro-fitted items.
The level of communication was great. They never showed up unannounced, or left without telling us. Our lead technician was well trained and and took the time to answer the many questions I had regarding the thermostat, or how the new (to me) technology worked. Everyone we interacted with were professional, complementary, clean, and friendly. The guys who did the majority of the installation kept their work area clean and our home clean. I will be using them for any regularly scheduled maintenance or issues with my previously installed equipment.

Jimmy came to my home and spent allot of his time explaining to me how my heating and cooling system works. The two technicians changed the air filters and routine maintenance on the HVAC system. They did a great job. I was very satisfied.

At about 5pm on the night before Christmas Eve, I discovered that our heating system wasn’t working. Outside temperature was headed down to Zero that night, practically all businesses were closing for the holidays, and here we were without heat. I thought about how everything in life seems to go bad on the weekend! Who could I get to come, at a time like this and in temperature like this? I decided to call Carolina Comfort’s emergency number and see if I could get help. I called, a technician answered, he said he had one other call first and then he’d come check it out, and an hour later he came! He found out that two wires had been reversed on the motherboard, he unplugged one and plugged in the correct one, and the backup gas heat worked like a charm! What a relief and what great service!
