Albert came back after our new furnace was installed, and strapped up all the pipes in our basement. He was thorough and professional. Did a great job.

Just had to purchase a new AC unit for our home and Justin was so helpful and timely in getting pricing and scheduling done. He saw the project through to the end, including follow up with us afterwards. The installation staff were top notch too! Highly recommend!

I have a service contract and paid for them to come out because my house was not cooling properly. The service man came out and said nothing was wrong - it couldn't cool that much when it was so hot outside. I have never had that problem in the past 3 years even when it was hotter outside. Then he said I might need to change the filter. I was surprised by that because it had been changed fairly recently, but changed it anyway. However, my house continued to be much hotter than the thermostat was set at, even when it wasn't that hot outside. I need to have it checked but don't want to pay for another service call when told it was nothing the first time.

We recently had to replace the HVAC in our home. The installer, Lee and his team did an outstanding job. They were on time, kept us informed about what they were doing and why variations were required. I am very comfortable with the installation and confident that the system will work fine and that the Gentry team will be available if there is any issues.

**Buyer Beware**
Meeting with Dean for an estimate was a total waste of time. I asked for an itemized quote. He said that would be fine. I ask for a mini split system, cooling only. He says that will all be fine. I get a estimate/quote/proposal 5 days later in my email junk/spam box.

Its not itemized. He quotes me @ over $7,000 on a system with a heat pump. Again, he knows I don't need a heat pump. I look up the model number of the unit he suggests. The unit costs $3,000 online. I can buy it for that price. So, installation for a days worth of work, on a system I don't want or need, is $4,000?

These bumpkins started lying to me when I called their office to complain about Deans unprofessionalism. I asked their secretary Karen to send a competent human to my home. She told me to calm down (I wasn't upset) and I told her to kick rocks.

I wouldn't trust Dean or anyone at this company further than I could throw them. They baselessly told me I could not have certain equipment installed in my home. Oddly enough I found a local company that said the exact opposite. The HVAC system I want is now being installed.

As a real estate agent, I have a lot of contact and communication with service professionals in the Asheville area and quality service always makes an impact on me. Albert at Gentry inspected a mini split system for a client of mine and was not only professional and on time, he was friendly and helpful. I had a lot of questions about the system and he didn’t hesitate to give me the “full rundown” of how the system worked. The home inspector happened to be there at the same time and we both listened as Albert explained things to us. I can’t express what a value it is to work with people willing to share their knowledge.
