Damon came out the same day I first contacted Progressive Service Company and replaced my 20 year old hot water! I couldn't believe how quickly he did it AND he did it all by himself.

I'm quite happy with the quality of the service I received; I'll be sure to use Progressive again in the future.

Called to have them look at a potential leaky pipe in my shower. Water pressure was suddenly low, but still flowing, but was not satisfied with their response. I was told that the likely culprit was "the need for a higher flow shower head," (not something you get from you local Lowes or Home Depot) or "you need to clean the shower head and filter." I have already gone though the steps to clean the shower heads and confirm that this were not the issue. I have a multiple setting shower (hand-held wand as well as overhead shower head) and the low water pressure issue is on all outlets.

They also told me that "the water pressure looks good to me" as if to dismiss my complaint and also that they could "increase the water pressure to the house" when I have no issue with water pressure anywhere except this one shower.

Was not satisfied with the explanation or service received. Feel like I wasted my time and money for an issue I still have. I gave them 2 stars since they were responsive and did show up on schedule with good communication as to when they were going to arrive.

We are installing a new sink in our house. Progressive Plumbing, Marcus and Timothy, were polite and professional. They completed the work in a very timely manner and answered all our questions as they went. It is a two step project, but we are certain it will be completed with great care. Thank you!!

Progressive also installed a water softener/conditioner due to high contents of iron in my water. To get things to preform as they thought it should, they installed additional equipment at no cost to me.
I would definitely recommend this company, they stand behind their work and equipment 100%.
Marcus is the service technician that installed my system. He respects my property, very professional and take pride in his work. He's the tech of the year in my book.

I submitted for a work order on a Wednesday and was told that my technician, Tim, would be out to service from 8-11 then was told it moved to 1pm AFTER I called to follow up at 11. After 1pm, still no technician, to the point of where the operator was confused.

No updates or communication - For their answering machine to say always on time is 100% false advertisement in my experience. Just moved to NC and I would stay away from these guys for my future projects just based off of them not fulfilling a basic “promise” they make..

Asked to submit a complaint on the technician to the manager, but I was not given the option by the operator so I told him the manager can contact me based off of the review if they want.

If you don't have hot water and need it asap, steer clear of Progressive.

Working with Progressive Service Company was really great and easy. Marcus C. and his coworker installed our new water heater. Their price was very competitive against the three other quotes we received from other plumbers. They also had great customer service, were easy to communicate with, and were on time for each appointment. I would definitely work with Progressive Service Company for another project in the future.

I had my water heater replaced in Dec. 2019 by this company. They charged a great deal of money to do it on a weekend ($3000) and 15 months later the pilot light would not stay lit. The install of this new expensive water heater had water lines that the technician did not properly insulate, did not insulate the back up tank at the top, the exhaust pipe was not at slanted up like it is supposed to be, and I did not have the correct length of pipe coming out that is supposed to be only a few inches off the ground. I called them to come fix the pilot light in March 2021. They charged me about $250 for labor and the only thing the plumber did was replace a thermal couple lead. This new lead did NOT fix the problem. The plumber guessed that it was the controller and did not have this part. I had to call RUDD (water heater manufacturer) to order the part which was going to take 2-4 days to arrive. I was then going to have to pay another ~ $300 if not more, for labor to install this new controller a few days later and take time off of work. There was not a guarantee this controller was the issue and would fix the pilot light problem. Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY for water heater work. They install water heaters they do not carry parts for and although it is under warranty they will charge you out the wazoo for labor changing things that may not even fix the problem. I found out using another company to fix my water heater, which I actually ended up replacing, that RUDD water heaters are known for gas valve issues. The plumber / technician from Progressive did not mention one thing about a gas valve issue. He also had no diagnostic tool to determine if in fact what he replaced and then suggested replacing would correct the problem. I say again DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I sat in my house for 1-3 p.m appointment, nobody showed up, nobody called, it was supposedly changed to 3-5, and again nobody showed up, nobody called. It was 5 o'clock and when I called and they had gone home. Lack of courtesy! Maybe when the economy goes down these same folks will learn some courtesy and customer service skills. Pathetic, not even a phone call.

Thank you Progressive and J.R. the Technician who came to my house at 11:15-11:30 PM or sofor the clogged line from my house to the road. He completed the job by 12:30 AM. J.R. was courteous and very knowledgeable about the problem. Progressive Plumbing was the only company that found that eventful night that had off hours repair.. Thank you so much
