I was concerned when they showed up to do a complete install of the air handler and outdoor AC unit at our apartment at 3pm. All I can say is the gentlemen that showed up worked both quickly and professionally. Not only did they do great work, they were patient with our kids. I highly recommend them.

I had to go through this company because they are the contractor that my Home Warranty used. They had 2 business days to get the report to my warranty company about my HVAC unit. They were at my house at 9:30am Friday morning. I spoke with them on Friday afternoon, Monday afternoon, Tues afternoon, and Wednesday morning. Every time they told me they were in the process of sending the work order to the warranty company. I explained to them that it was 90° outside, 84° in my house and that my dog was a husky, that I am having to board my dog somewhere else because they are getting too overheated in my house, and the warranty company told me they would approve repairs as soon as Mandolin would send the work order. The warranty company even made attempts to contact Mandolin with no success. Each time I spoke with them they said they were in the process of sending the work order then. Each time they lied to me. They did not send in the work order to the warranty company until the warranty reached back out to them on Wednesday. They were at my house Friday morning at 9:30 am, and could not manage to send a report of what repairs needed to be done until 11am the following Wednesday. When I spoke with a supervisor at Mandolin, his response was "We did the best we could." When I explained that because of boarding my dog, buying window units to cool my house, and then the out of pocket expenses my warranty company didn't cover that I had saved no money or headache going through them, and that I did not appreciate his company lying to me 3 separate times. His reply was, "If you don't want to wait, you can pay my company about $3,000 to fix it now or you'll have to just wait!" When all along the warranty company was waiting on them. I would highly, HIGHLY recommend never using Mandolin HVAC & Construction, and don't really recommend First American Home Warranty either. It's looking like I should finally have AC at my house the Tuesday 11 days after Mandolin first came to my house.

Agent did not finish the work on the day of scheduled appointment. Had to call them to schedule a secondary appointment and was told an agent could not come the next day due to already full schedule.
Be aware of this type customer service. You would think they would have procedures to finish one job (one not finished) before going to a new job (one not started)....No one likes a person to start a job and not come back until days later to finish.....They need to change their policy.

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with this company through a home warranty program. It is extremely difficult to get ahold of them and when they made an appointment they called to change it halfway through the scheduled window. Stay away from them. The lady on the phone did nothing to try to solve my issue of not having A.C. for a week now.

Worst customer service and not responsive to employee concerns and provide the wrong price quote information. I wouldn’t recommend them.
