The signage in multiple places says you do counter sales, accept credit cards, but you must be licensed to buy gas or electric supplies. I just wanted to buy some ductwork, so I drove 30 minutes to get it there instead of some big box store. Once there, they said they couldn't sell anything at all to me unless I was a licensed contractor. Fair enough, but update your signage and info so you're not wasting people's time.
Racist and discrimination base store supply, there no fist come first serve at this place. They serveed 2 contractors that comes behind me and make me wait more than 1 hr to get a gas pack unit. This is incredible
The Grapevine and McKinney stores are fine, but the Denton Store has the most unhelpful staff ever. I've tried numerous times to buy parts there and they are too busy having coffee breaks to be of any service. I tried to buy a Toto fill valve and he looked at me like I was trying to order touch up paint for a Monet. "It isn't that simple, I'll have to special order it, I'll have to call my rep." Read- "I don't care" I got online and ordered one in 3 minutes.
They got just about anything you would need to repair Goodman hvac systems any many universal parts for other brands. You do however have to have a buisness account as they are not open to the public
They need to put it on their website that they cannot be bothered by regular people and will not sell to one. If you are only open for HVAC contractors then put that on your web site! So people do not waste time driving all the way there to be told that they should get it on Amazon (which I did, Thanks for nothing) Weird thing is anyone can buy it from them on-line, just not if you go into their location. I guess this is what I get for trying to support a local business. Lesson learned. With this kind of customer centric attitude I am quite sure if the part I ordered does not fix my issue I will NOT be calling Ferguson for service (which I am sure suits them fine since I am just a regular Joe and not a HVAC contractor). So save yourself a trip and get your parts on Amazon because thats what they will tell you to do if you do drive to their store. (plus you will save a few $$)
