I would definitely recommend this company for both new installs and repairs. We just had some preventative maintenence done on the new unit they installed for us earlier this year. Our technician, Kevin B. Was super professional amd nice and took the time to explain everything and also look at our older unit upstairs. This company has always been timely and responsive with all our ac/heating needs.

After getting 3 quotes in Raleigh to replace a 35-year-old Trane, Cape Fear Heating & Air beat the other two quotes by $2,000 and $800 which saved me a lot of money. As a bonus, they recommended moving the existing outside pad away from the unit next to it (condo) due to it being to close, which would affect the performance of my new unit. The other two companies did not make this recommendation. They were on time for the installation and completed the work in one day, leaving my condo cleaner than they found it. Very pleased with this company, and I highly recommend them.

We had to do a full HVAC replacement. Antonio, Nelson, and Kevin were great! Antonio and Nelson showed up on time and got right to work. The job was completed without any hiccups, and they left the space very tidy. Kevin came later and reviewed the work. He did a great job advocating for his collogues.

Cape Fear Raleigh is my preferred provider for any HVAC needs. They recently troubleshooted the issues with my very old unit and I decided to replace my Heating Unit:) They are always responsive and timely with return calls. Great experience all-around with Cape Fear! I initially reached out to them when my heat stopped working. A serviceman was able to come out within a few hours and get it working. I then contemplated replacing both hvac systems as they were old and in need of expensive repair. The project manager came out the next day and gave me an estimate. I decided to purchase new units and was able to get installation appointments for the following week. The installers were on time, friendly, very professional throughout, and completed the work as scheduled. Shout-outs to Mike P (service), Mike M (project manager), JJ and Dennis (installers), and Pam (office) for an extremely smooth experience!

I had my downstairs HVAC system replaced on Dec 18th 2021.Mr Tim was very friendly and helpful in choosing a system and explaining everything before the start of work and called back to check if everything went well.I had forgotten about Duke energy credit, He reminded me of Duke energy credit and also applied it on my behalf.
Technicians who did the work were very professional and very easy to work with. They explained every step before they started working. The technician had to take three trips to tune up my other system, replace fire alarms. I am very happy with the service provided.

Mike P was professional, congenial, and did a great job of diagnosing and giving remediation advice on my heating system. When servicing the heating system, he found that there were moisture issues. He performed the remediation carefully and with attention to detail, moving along, but not rushing, as some seem to. I also want to throw in that Tammy, Pam and Ashlyn, the lovely people who have answered the phone and do the scheduling are also easy to work with. What a well-run outfit. Thanks to all.

I highly recommend James from the Raleigh branch. He correctly diagnosed an issue that was misdiagnosed by another company who was trying to sell me on a more expensive part or new unit altogether. He was very thorough in his explanation and had our AC up and running in no time.
