    Bell Cow Heating and Cooling did a great job installing a new water heater in our garage and removing the old unit from the crawl space. They performed all plumbing and electrical work for the job and completed everything in one day. The work was to a high standard and it looked like the new water heater was part of the original home construction when they were done. The city inspector said he wished all companies did such an outstanding job. I highly recommend Bell Cow for installing water heaters.

    Good experience with Bell Cow, had a sink, faucet, and garbage disposal replaced and they were able to do it all on the first visit. The company was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable...Mike Dawson, the technician, even had to modify my sink cutout due to the new sink being a little bigger than the old one, which is not the kind of work they normally do.     We had our entire HVAC system replaced by this company in February of 2019. We had to call them out for repairs by November of 2019. Upon further inspection, we came to realize that the entire BRAND NEW system was installed incorrectly. The control board was fried from bad wiring and had to be replaced. There was a hole in our return system that was covered up with duct tape in an attempt to conceal it. There was improperly installed duct work that had to be reinstalled. The defrost board was fried from bad wiring and had to be replaced. Also, the settings that the initial installers used on our control board ending up costing us a ton in utility bills. We were unaware that the team had set our system to run solely on emergency heat if it fell below 40 degrees outside. Overall, I would not recommend this company to anybody. Our tech we had at the end was wonderful but he had to fix everything (alone) that was done incorrectly in the first place. It is a huge let down to pay a large sum of money on something that is supposed to improve your home, however, it ends up causing more of a headache. In a span of less than a year, this company has come out to our house 7 times to fix their mistakes. Don’t waste your time on this company. We have found another company to take over.

    I received a quote from Bel Cow for an installation of a tankless water heater. The service and sales people were highly professional and clearly very knowledgeable. I did choose to go with a different vendor due to an existing relationship, but I was confident the Bell Cow would have done a great job at a fair price.

    What an awful, awful experience with this company. My warranty company contracted them to fix our upstairs unit. It took 4 service calls over a period of 5 weeks to get our AC fixed. Their customer service agents were catty, showed no sympathy and even less urgency with scheduling appointments for their technicians.

    The first appt they gave us an 8am-12pm arrival window. They called at 11:55 to let me know they would miss the window AND that there was another appointment ahead of us. My wife had taken the day off of work to be home and then they couldn't even give us an ETA for the afternoon. Off to a terrible start.

    I understand that diagnosing a problem on the first call may be challenging, so they filled up with refrigerant and left, saying to call us if it goes out again. Sure enough, it did within days. It then took 5 business days for them to get the next tech to come out to actually diagnose the problem. The tech sent the request off to the warranty company to order the replacement parts.

    Bell Cow then wouldn't let me reschedule the 3rd appointment to install the replacement parts until after the parts arrived in their facility. So after waiting 5 business days + a weekend, we had to add another 3 business days before their tech could come out again. No sympathy and no urgency during the hottest month of the hottest year on record.

    On the third visit, I specifically asked for a phone call prior to their arrival since they've been late before. They just showed up without a call - barely within the appointment window. Their install techs weren't all that friendly (one was shirtless 90% of the time). They did the fix and got the air working, only for it to fail within days for the 3rd time.

    The fourth visit actually went well. Their tech, Sam, said that the install techs inadvertently knocked off one of the valve caps causing the refrigerant to bleed out.

    Long story short. Do not use them under any circumstance. If your warranty company selects Bell Cow, do everything in your power to get another contractor. They do shoddy work, are extremely poor communicators, and frankly don't seem to value the warranty customer. We were without air in all 3 of our bedrooms for the better part of 30 days (a couple days of respite in between) and they didn't seem to care in the slightest that they were having to make 4 service calls on the same unit.

    EDIT: Unfortunately I'm obliged to edit my review with an update. The irony of this edit should not be lost on the reader.

    After posting the above, Bell Cow contacted me to schedule a courtesy quality control walkthrough. I hesitated, but agreed. What's the worse that could happen?

    Well, they no-showed the appointment for the QC walkthrough. The reason for the no-show, they said, was that no one assigned a technician to my ticket. Another wasted day off that I had to spend at home waiting on no one.

    During the rescheduled QC walkthrough (which I was told should take 10-15 minutes), their technician spent over an hour drilling and hammering. Turns out he wanted to reinstall a kill switch for the condensation since he "didn't like how the original installers put it on." Ok, fine.

    The very next day, a mere 28 hours after their Quality Control walkthrough, the air went out AGAIN. This was during the first week of October when we had those record highs of 95+ degrees. Fortunately, Bell Cow came out the next day to re-re-re-fix the problem. That was their SIXTH call on this unit.

    Proceed with Bell Cow at your own peril. Had it not been for the record heat, we would not have turned the air on until Spring 2020 and we would not have been able to hold Bell Cow accountable for yet another screw-up. I should've trusted my gut and not allowed another one of their techs anywhere near any appliance in my home. Never again.

    Aaron with Bell Cow was incredible! He showed up exactly when he said he would and promptly diagnosed our problem and replaced our water heater. He was respectful throughout and couldn’t have been more pleasant. I will certainly use Bell Cow again!
