Glad I found Harkey after trying a few HVAC companies. They have been very helpful and knowledgeable both summers that I have needed them. They get your system going without any upselling. They were even early for the appointment! And both times the owner even came by too with the technician to make sure everything is taken care of. Highly recommended!

Had my fall preventative maintenance done yesterday. Two young men showed up. Very pleasant, polite and extremely efficient. Respectful of my home by wearing boot covers. Can’t say enough great things about Harkey Heating and Air.

Ryan and his crew are always a pleasure to work with. This company has a personal touch; you truly do feel like family. I appreciate that Ryan will often communicate with us himself. He is always honest and upfront about pricing and will explain all our options. Kim in the office is also a sweet lady to talk with and never sounds annoyed if you're stressed or asking too many questions. We have used Harkey several times, for plumbing and our hvac systems. Most recently we had two new complete systems put in with new thermostats. Our systems come with an amazing warranty and we couldn't have asked for a more friendly, professional crew to spend time in our home making sure everything was perfect. I have to add that one of our dogs was not happy to have visitors and barked almost non-stop as the crew walked in and out. However, they were understanding and never rude about it. They'll be happy to know that we've since sent that dog for training and their next visit to our home should be more pleasant. :) Thank you, Harkey crew!

Ryan and his Dad Todd are good people. Showed up on time explained everything very well to me. Need just a few minutes to finish the job after my Electrician hooks up the new Tankless water heater. We started using them for HVAC recently and will give good reviews and direct friends to them.

Let me just begin by saying my wife & I relocated from South Florida (aka: the scam capital of the world) to North Carolina in 2020 & in doing so went from having electric heat & A/C to having gas heat & electric A/C. Not having much knowledge on how to maintain an HVAC system we quickly realized we needed to find an honest, reliable & affordable company & as luck would have it our neighborhood welcome basket had their info in it, so we made the call & are so very glad we did. We’ve been using Harkey for 2 years now & can’t say enough about how amazing they are. First off, Kim is one of the most pleasant people I’ve ever spoken with on the phone, & the quality of work their techs AJ, JT, & Joe provide is just amazing. I actually feel sad when they leave because they’re just so genuinely nice to talk with that I wish they could stay longer. In fact Joe serviced our HVAC system this morning & in talking with him for just a few minutes it felt like we had been friends for years (if you’ve ever had that feeling with someone then you know what I’m talking about). We honestly can’t remember when we’ve been treated nicer or better by anyone. And if I didn’t already mention it, their prices are very reasonable too!

Coming from South Florida where people are always trying to take advantage & rip you off at every turn, finding truly honest, decent people who are passionate about what they do & really care about their customers is hard to do, but it’s been a blessing & a breath of fresh air to find a company that treats their customers so well. We are Harkey customers for life & you should be too. Give them a call, you’ll be glad you did! 🙂

Joe provided excellent service. He texted when on his way to our house. He was respectful of our property, did a thorough investigation, and provided multiple options. I would highly recommend Harley for your HVAC needs!

Words can’t explain how much I appreciate this company!! We had our HVAC system die on the coldest winter day, and Kim worked with us the whole time and managed to get a new system installed in record time! It’s amazing when a company truly cares.
