I can't rate their actual service, so I gave a 3. Tried to schedule maintenance on my heat pump over the phone. After going through their availability of techs to get a date, I was asked if they have ever serviced this location before. When I said no, I was stopped in my tracks and told "We are not taking on any new customers"! I was stunned, since I was first told that a tech could be out tomorrow. I couldn't believe that a company did not want new customers. It didn't seem to be an availability issue. I even said that it wasn't an emergency and I could wait for an opening. I was again told "I'm sorry, we aren't taking new customers". I have other choices and called other companies to schedule. I was just baffled that they wouldn't schedule me out. I don't have any hard feelings, but I will definitely not use them if they make more hires and reach back out during their slower season.
These guys are great! They upgraded our system years ago and it's been perfect. When we did recently need service , they were available the next day. Eric was professional and repaired everything in one visit. I'll continue to recommend them to everyone for big and small jobs.
Air Dynamics showed up for a system replacement job on time and did a fantastic job! The Guys worked well together as a team and got the job done in a timely fashion. They were neat and tidy, and made sure we were happy before they left. Call this company for anything HVAC related!
Service was very fast, I called in the morning and they had a tech at my home later that morning. According to my fiancee they were very courteous and seemed professional. They were also to me when I called to request service. My equipment was also fixed in around 30 minutes. My problem comes with how they deceitfully handled the billing, quoting and consent part. My fiancee is not the owner of the property, nor is her name on any documentation associated, nor did she call to request the service. They asked her to sign for consent for a quote to proceed with work, none of which had I been called or asked about. I get an email for a $430 bill for which involved around $50 of parts and 30 minutes of labor. She also paid them on the spot, so I now have no leverage and Air Dynamics got what they wanted and have no interest in assisting me any further. The problem was that I could have fixed what was wrong had they just called and told me the diagnosis. This would have cost the $85 service call. They chose to get consent from someone ignorant of anything HVAC related and not able to legally give consent. How they went about it has shades of the sexism you get when an uninformed female goes to a mechanic for work on her car and gets grossly overcharged just because she doesn't know any better. I have asked for a bill adjustment, and they said no. I will never recommend their business to anyone, quite the opposite. I understand businesses have overhead and need to make money, but being deceitful and/or grossly overcharging is never the right way to do things.
Wow - what a fantastic experience with Air Dynamics today! Of course, A/C only breaks down on Sunday, just before the 4th of July, when it's consistently in the 90s.... I called Air Dynamics to see if there was a chance someone would answer on Sunday. Within a few minutes, I was happily surprised to receive a call back. Within 90 minutes, Allen was at my home and he quickly diagnosed the issue (a bad capacitor) and replaced the part. He then took the time to clean the coil and check the refrigerant and inspect the system. I learned a lot in the process and there was no 'upsell' or any other issues that were detected. Allen was incredibly professional, super engaging and highly efficient. You can very quickly tell that he's outstanding. Despite the Sunday service call and kind of urgent need for help, the cost was appropriate and fair. This was my first experience with Air Dynamics and based on it, I'd highly recommend them. We'll definitely be repeat customers. Thank you!!!

We recently had some issues at our Cornelius location and I had the pleasure of meeting Mike Locassio. He was able to troubleshoot a very complicated system and did a remarkable job. Mike is personable, trustworthy, and really knowledgeable! Highly recommend!!
Air Dynamics assessed the HVAC in the home we were purchasing. They provided a great estimate. When we were ready for the work to be completed, they were professional, extremely helpful and at a great price! I would highly recommend Air Dynamics for your needs!
We have used Air Dynamics since we moved to North Carolina. My husband probably chose them because they are first in the alphabet. We have been very fortunate to have Charlie be our service technician. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would definitely rate him as 20. I would be devastated if he leaves. Charlie has far too many qualities to list, but I would sum it up as he is extremely knowlegable about his craft, extremely courteous, extremely professional and truly a wonderful gentleman.
The Air Dynamics Team installed our new furnace and a/c unit several years ago and it has performed flawlessly. We recently had our furnace serviced, thank you Michael for your professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail !
Been with Air Dynamics for almost 12 years and they replaced the old unit 5 years ago. They are a wonderful group of people to work with. Starting with the office staff to all the technicians. I recommend them highly!!
