Eddie is a joy and extremely kind and hardworking, he says, “Hello Sunshine,” that really makes my day. And there Mr. Steve, he is so knowledgeable and full of wisdom, so compassionate and kind. I can’t say enough good things about Blackburn Carter. My husband first hired them many years ago for our home in Kernersville. They have done all kinds of repairs over the years and replaced two units. One in our home and more recent one in my condo. Their prices are always the best, they are quick and efficient. Their employees are respectful and knowledgeable.
What a wonderful company to work with, we are repeat customers. We moved from the area & then back to find ourselves in need of a new HVAC system. All members were professional and friendly. They made sure we had the information we needed and installed in a timely fashion. I highly recommend this company for installation & repair.
I called the company to inquiry about connecting a gas pool heater to my home gas meter and was informed that they would not do it. Didn’t get any explanations as to why until I started asking several follow up questions. One of the response was, “We’re too busy and that we’re only working on AC units at this time”. Wouldn’t help nor consider taking on new business/clients at the present time…..even if my AC unit broke.
I had problems with the dryer giving a message to clean the vent and not getting cloths dry. I assumed dirty ducts and made several calls. The one place that called back gave me a price and wanted to schedule. I called Blackburn Carter because we've used them for HVAC forever. Eddie came over the same day. He said the ducts were fine but the dryer ductwork created several traps and should be rerouted. They did the work quickly and at a good price. Now my cloths get dry the first time. Sorry Duke Power. Thanks, Eddie!
Mr. Blackburn and his team were great to work with. The fairest estimate received when we had to replace our zoned system. The workers were friendly and did a wonderful job. Super happy with our choice to use them!
I called last Wednesday to get a quote on a diagnostic fee and was told that they were not taking on any new customers and taking care of their loyal customers. I was very surprised at this response and even asked if this was good business policy as they can lose a lot of new business and again was reiterated that they are taking care of their loyal customers.
Now I understand that it is hot outside and I am sure that they are busy. I have an empty condo with an AC that is not working and just wanted to see how much it was for them to come out there and check it out, I was not trying to schedule service.
If they were that busy, they should have just simply said that they were too booked to take on new customer, I would totally understand that. But to be told that they are only focusing on their loyal customers is unprofessional and bad for business. As a result, I will never use their service and would not recommend anyone else too.
They wouldn’t even get a star if I could prevent it. If you are a loyal customer of theirs, you are lucky. They must offer the best service ever, I’ll never know.
