Parks Heating Cooling Plumbing and Electrical

AC drain needed to be unclogged. Was quoted a very high price to have the work done. Found a coupon on their site for drain unclogging for $73 special. Was told the special only applies to "regular" drains because it has a picture of a "regular" drain.

I informed Parks that their coupon should specify which drains it applies to in writing because most people utilizing their service would not make the distinction from the coupon picture. Needless to say, they did not honor that price. Will not use this overpriced business again.

Misleading marketing and prices!

We are current customers and received an email for “special pricing” (discount) on an electrical repair diagnostic. The price that was listed wasn’t even close to what we were charged for the diagnostic. The technician came in, glanced around and asked what the issue was. Before even looking at the spaces mentioned he said that the service was $200 and the special offer was just the truck fee! This was not advertised in the email! We were confused but needed the electrical checked, so we proceeded with the diagnostic. The technician checked everything and said he’d recommended changing out 3 LED lights. He said for that it would be $1,100. That was including the initial diagnostic that was supposed to be dropped if you have services done. We were floored by the up charging. Then the technician said he could do it for cheaper ($300) with his own business. All this was extremely unprofessional and we felt like we were being taken advantage of. We didn’t end up agreeing to the service, but still got stuck with a higher bill for them to tell us we need to replace 3 light bulbs. They also did not honor the advertised price when we called customer service to complain. Even after they admitted to needing to fix the language in their email. We are very dissatisfied with our experience. We value transparency and want to be able to trust a company we are hiring for fair price services.

Barry quickly figured out the issue and came back with parts and quickly fixed the next day. I'm editing this because I have now used Barry a second time to connect a new sink. He went way above and beyond to handle what was a unique situation. He worked way longer than expected and went out of the way to get the correct fittings when he could have used lower quality to get the job done. And he was pleasant the entire time and never complained.

Nita, the technician, was very professional. She also took time to educate me on what was normal and abnormal on my air conditioning unit. She showed pictures of before, and after the cleaning, and that all my gauges were in normal range. I’ve never had that kind of service before.

My wife and I have used Parks Heating and Cooling for years for regular maintenance of our central heating and cooling system. We have always appreciated the professionalism and friendliness of the technicians. While the most recent service was top-notch as usual, there was a very substantial price increase when compared to the previous year. That was the only downside.

We had an excellent experience with Nita, she was very knowledgeable while walking us through the maintenance process. Nita was personable and has great customer service traits about her, she always had a smile on her face..

We are new to the Indian Land area. When our heat failed on a very cold day last winter, Parks responded to our call immediately. Everyone we dealt with was knowledgeable, professional, and polite. Noah just came today to inspect everything and he could not have been more polite and professional. We are glad to have found Parks and plan to use them for all HVAC needs in the future.

Troy came out and assessed our repair needs after our well pressure tank burst. Within 24 hours of coming out repairs were done at a reasonable cost. Very knowledgeable and professional!

The technician, Troy was polite, friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about plumbing. He evaluated the entire home with me room by room. He explained and pointed out existing problems with the plumbing system as well as potential problems in the future. He listened to me and answered all my questions about the services and pricing that the company provides. I was able to make a confident decision about all the services that I received in order to keep my home plumbing functioning smoothly. I appreciated all that he did today.
