Hard to call AC going out a good experience, but thanks to Chip we got it fixed the same day. Appreciate his honesty, he didn't try to push me to buy a new unit or run up the bill, which was about half what I expected to pay. First class.
AIRFLO Heating and Cooling saved me in more ways than one. I’d just arrived back in town from a 2 week business trip just to discover my air went out and it was the hottest day we've had this summer. It was 90 degrees inside my home when I arrived from the airport. In addition to it being the hottest day, it was also the weekend and after hours. I called several companies prior to calling my boyfriend who was about 3 hours away and he called this company to come out to my home in High Point. A Technician name Chip with a professional and great personality arrived just a couple of hours later and he resolved my AC issue by replacing the AC Capacitor and in less than 10 minutes my AC was up and running like new. To my surprise when I attempted to pay the Technician, he informed me that my boyfriend had already taken care of the invoice and I had a zero balance. He handed me a receipt and to my surprise, again, I looked at receipt and the price was very inexpensive compared to all the other companies I tried calling for a weekend/after-hours service call. My neighbor was quite impressed with the company fast and inexpensive service as well so I shared the company contact information with my neighbor. Monday morning at work, I heard my coworker complain about her AC issues at home, so I shared this company contact information with her as well. This company is a true life saver! I truly HIGHLY recommend this company for all heating and cooling needs. AIRFLO receives an A+ in my book!
I came home to no AC and originally called another company only because they were first up on Google. Long story short, the call taker was rude and apparently did not need my business. Airflo was my second call. Chip answered my call and explained that things have been very hectic for him and he could not get out to service me until the next morning. I was fine with that, but was surprised when he pulled off the road (he was between stops) and went component by component with me until we found the problem. Problem solved! No need for him to come out after all. Service like that does not exist anymore!! He could have easily come out the next day and charged me whatever he wanted. He was very knowledgeable and pointed me to every component over the phone. Also, if he did have to come out, the stop fee was half of the first company I called. Very good guy in my book!!
I recently called Airflo to fix my heater on 4/7/2016. It worked for a week and then it started blowing out cold air. I called them back and they said I needed a new plate for my heater. This is when the service went from a satisfied customer to a very unsatisfied customer. The owner Chip told me he would order the plate and would call me when the part came in. However, I had to continually call Chip because I never hear from him once the date had passed for the part arriving. Once the part arrived he cancelled several appointments to fix my heater. After so many missed appointments, Chip lost the part and had to reorder the part again. After never receiving a call to inform me the part was in again (He told me the part would arrive within 2 day) , I decided to call him after 6 days had passed to ask the status of the part. He told me he would check and call me right back. I waited for 4 hours without a call back and decided I had given him more time than I should have so I called him back and told him not to worry about the part anymore since his actions had showed me he wasn't interested in fixing my heater. I'm glad the weather was mild and didn't require a quick repair. If you want a dependable person who keeps his word and repairs promptly, do not use this repair shop. I was misled by the positive reviews posted.
My experience with Airflo today was exceptional. The price was incredibly reasonable; they had me fixed and ready to go for less than the cost most companies charge to simply diagnose the issue. My heater stopped working in the middle of the night. Airflo was the first company I called in the morning and to my surprise, I was delighted to hear they would be at my home in a very short amount of time. Right on time, maybe even a bit early, Chip Bryant and his son were at my doorstep ready to help get my heat working again. Within 3 minutes they isolated the problem. A quick run out to the van to pull the part I needed and in less than 10 minutes the Bryant's were finished, on their way to the next job. They even checked my pump out back to make sure everything looked ok... I didn't even have to ask! I couldn't have been more pleased - super great service. I have lived in my home (Jamestown, NC) for nineteen years and have never been cool in the summer or warm in the winter. Chip and his son were recommended by a good friend of mine, and when she said "I would never go to anyone else for heat and air service," I gave them a call. They installed new AC and fixed the duct work in my attic that was put in all wrong when the house was built! I am now super cool in the super hot summer we are having in North Carolina! Now I can say "I would never have anyone else for heat and air service!" Thank You Airflow.
The heating unit had to be replaced in a rental property I owned and I was not in a position to physically meet with and speak with possible contractors to replace system. Chip from Airflo Heating was the 1st person I spoke with and I wanted to hire him immediately after speaking with him. He just put me at ease about the whole process and I really felt that he was trustworthy. However I did do my due diligence and receive additional quotes from different companies but in the end I went with Chip. My husband and I have never felt the need to leave reviews on services before but here it's well deserved. Chip kept us informed every step of the way, he took care of everything up to and including registering our systems warranty. Immediately after work was completed we received all required documents via mail for the HVAC system. We ended up replacing our entire HVAC system because it made sense and his pricing was the lowest quote we received. I have no problem recommending this company to family and friends.
Very good service and these guys are very knowledgeable. Called on Saturday morning and they were out within an hour as promised. Chip took care of my furnace issue very quickly, explained the problem, and gave me tips on how to avoid it happening again. They only charged me a service call for the visit. Their rates are very good. I'll continue to use them for HVAC needs.
