Harlie was very down-to-earth and easy to work with. I had the entire 20 year old 5 ton Goodman HVAC system replaced with a new variable speed Carrier 4 ton HVAC unit; the refrigerant lines and the ductwork around the air handler were completely replaced. Harlie's crew did an excellent job on the installation, I have NO COMPLAINTS and I am very detail oriented.

Before selecting Comfort Wizards, I obtained estimates from two Trane companies in the Raleigh/Garner area; I was shocked with their prices (which DID NOT INCLUDE replacing the refrigerant lines - $800 for that alone). For an exactly comparable Carrier system, Harlie came in $4500 below the Trane estimates and he was offering to do more. He explained the difference easily, his overhead is non-existent compared to the bigger companies, he doesn't have estimators, middle men and large building overhead to pay. In summary, you can waste your money with a "big name" or you can get a great install at a much more affordable price on a great Carrier unit from Comfort Wizards. Your choice.

I had a similar experience as Sofia, and never received a call to reschedule for the next day, nor the 45 minute advance call on the second day. Other than that major lack in communication, the service was excellent. I understand the early heat wave and the 100s of calls from warranty calls vs the expected 10 per day can overwhelm the new reservation system and additional new employees, so I expect to be back to normal excellent service AND communication that I am used to before long.

Having the exact same experience as T Sal. I'm using them because they are the contractor for my warranty company. They came onsite because my AC broke down a few days ago and replaced a capacitor and "apparently" the hard start kit. A couple days after they came my usual HVAC company came to clean it and when they did their routine inspection they told me that I needed a hard start kit because the compressor was under lots of load. Also the unit was making a horrible noise. So I called back my warranty company and they opened a re-work request with them. A few days went by and nobody called me to re-schedule. So I called them this past Friday before getting home and actually finding that the unit wasn't working and they said they will send someone on Monday. I called the warranty company after finding that the AC wasn't working and they raised my request to urgent. We spent the entire weekend without AC with 3 kids(one of them a 1 year old baby). Today the receptionist(who is very rude and unprofessional) called me to tell me that they needed to re-schedule. I complained and she said that the owner will come to deal with it. I called back a few hours later to get an ETA and she told me that she didn't have one and to call the warranty company and complain if I wanted to. Just look at the yelp reviews and don't be fooled by the google reviews.

Harlan the owner helped my family personally when the insurance company did not honor there agreement. Our heat pump needed major repair, they personally took charge of situation and fixed my unit and took care of insurance company. Customer service does exist with this company. Great technicians and just good people. I highly recommend this company

I had four quotes for replacement of my HVAC unit. Comfort Wizards did a thorough load calculation, spent the time to discuss all my options, then gave me a very competitive quote. They just finished the installation, and the unit is working wonderfully. The installation is top notch. I will certainly use them again.

My HVAC unit went out on me during the holidays. Harlie came out and was very thorough. We had a new unit put in and am very pleased. I have had both units at the house replaced by Comfort Wizards and both times we have been impressed with their work.

Would not recommend. They were supposed to come out last week and at the last minute canceled. Then, they called yesterday and pushed appointment back by 2 hours. Then was late for that appointment. Supposed to check Air Conditioning unit, but never even turned it on (how do you check a unit if you don't even turn it on?). Tried calling in today to see what was going on and have not heard back.

I’ve been waiting for the word for when my appointment was and I’m living in a 95 degree home. So the tech Harvey or Harley or whatever arrived to my home at 9 PM. He did not warn me he was coming today/tonight (never called, emailed, or text that I had an appointment today) and showed up when most people are in bed. He says he saw the lights were off and just drove away. He admits he never knocked on the door, never rang the bell... just drove away. When I got out of the shower I called him back and he refused to return. Telling me I might be able to be scheduled for two days from now. WTF? Terrible tech/company.

(Update since I cannot reply to his reply: my property management company have no record of you reaching out. My office manager has no record of you reaching out. You never told myself you were coming. Lights are off because it’s 95 degrees and I’m not in those rooms. I’m stuck in the back of the house with a Walmart window unit for the passed 3 days. You called AT 9PM while I was in the shower with NO warning you were even coming, didn’t knock, didn’t ring the bell. How do you think that’s ok?)

Very happy with their service! Great communication with the tech who quickly diagnosed the problem with my upstairs AC unit and fixed it. Also diagnosed a problem with the downstairs AC unit as well, but didn't have the part to repair it. Will come back for that repair. I am very pleased with Comfort Wizards Heating & AC and would highly recommend them.

One of our AC units went out last summer and the Comfort Wizard team made sure our downed unit limped along until they were able to install in Carrier unit. Great techs and installation team. Good Pm too. Would recommend.
