    "It's fine" they said... My wife would ask about the filter every time we got our service. I'm no mold professional but, that looks a lot like mold and damage to me. (Actually I have been a mold and indoor air quality professional for the last 12 years). Check behind your HVAC service, always. Most companies MO seems to be: If it runs, it's good. See ya next year! Sadly, this company seems to be like the others. Ugh. Disappointing because I trusted them to do the right thing. My fault. I know better. Now you do too...hopefully.

    Had LeeAC come out for a full hvac system replacement - best value out of 4 other nearby company estimates and shortest time from quote to install. Bug and his team worked hard and were able to complete it all same day. Highly recommend for installs/replacements!

    Final Update: Due to Joe Lee overselling a unit and Bug and his team improperly installing the unit and vent pipe we’ve had continual issues with lines freezing in cold temps. Service team (now owned separately by someone else) did nothing to resolve the issue. I cannot recommend this company for any service or installation. You don’t realize you are dealing with two entities operating under the same umbrella and neither will give you what you need. I’m taking my business elsewhere.

    I’m really back again to review this place poorly. Last year while we were away for Christmas came back to our brand new system not working. Wife had just gotten pregnant and they were predicting snow and low temps. Had major problems with the repair due to them installing the 2nd floor drain on a shady side of the house. Two weeks later it was finally fixed.

    Now AGAIN the drain pipe has frozen on us and the heat is off. Been on hold with their “emergency line” for 30 minutes. I would think with such extreme temperatures predicted for this Christmas they would have planned on having support. I’m dealing with the same issue they never fixed and that Joe Lee sold us on.

    Update: Left message first time and didn’t hear anything back, called again around 4 and the answering service said “would you like an immediate call back?” Yes, please. Still haven’t heard anything. Temp is dropping quick and my wife and 3 month old are huddling under blankets.

    I’m guessing the are not offering emergency services over the holiday weekend. Typically understandable but given the conditions I would think they’d have concern for their clients.

    They installed this rube-Goldberg machine of a heating system so when you really need it (ie when it’s cold) it’s inoperable due to poor installation!

    I hate to complain. I’m trying to support a local business but when I’ve had a terrible customer experience as well as the same problem repeating itself when the unit is clearly not doing what it’s supposed to do, after spending a lot of money, then I feel like I’m getting fleeced over here

    Installation was great and everything was working smoothly. Couple of weeks after, I was having issues with airflow and asked for a technician to come out. The technician did not come out until two weeks after calling and scheduling. I was given a quote and was told they would schedule a time to fix the issue. It has been over 2 weeks since I’ve gotten a quote and I’ve called and emailed but have not gotten a response. They were great and helped me tremendously at first, but now are non-responsive and won’t pick up the phone. I would caution those that work with them.

    I bought a house a year ago that had it's AC/Heat unit installed by another company in durham, so when it was malfunctioning I had called and had them come out multiple times to try and fix it with no help and no luck. Almost spent $7K on crawlspace work when instead I called Lee and had them come out and check. Sure enough, it was just that the AC had been installed incorrectly so Ronald from Lee AC was a rock star and fixed it all up. Saved me so much money and a huge project that wouldn't have even worked.

    It's been over a month and the AC works perfectly! SO grateful for Ronald and will definitely be recommending him to others!

    I had an HVAC installed by them recently and was pleased with how quickly they got the job done. Then when we needed to run the furnace it wasn't starting, so I gave them a call this morning, and Michelle told me they were booked today, but maybe could squeeze me in. I'm glad she worked her magic with the schedule, the technician came out and got our furnace working in probably 2 minutes.
    Great service, very friendly, knowledgeable techs. I'd highly recommend them.

    Our business has worked with Lee Air for more than a decade, and we've found their techs to be top notch. Gary and Ronald especially have developed a detailed, intricate knowledge of our shop's quirky HVAC units, and they've reliably kept them running despite their advanced age.

    We had an air conditioner outage today as a result of another contractor doing damage to the electric company's lines that supply our business, which caused an intense power surge. Sarah courteously answered our call and reported details to Jason, their service manager, who treated this business-impacting situation like an emergency. He found and scheduled a tech to respond very quickly. Gary was here quickly, and he efficiently diagnosed and repaired the problem. Once the A/C was cooling again, he walked me through all of the services that he performed to get the A/C restored.

    Our shop is cool again and our customers and staff are comfortable!

    We have a service contract with Lee Heating and Air. We had our service today from Zach, a very polite young man who serviced both A/C units. He was very polite, professional and courteous. He was very friendly to our dog. He also made sure our dog was protected when he was changing out some components which had some liquid associated with it. My wife and I appreciate his promptness for the appointment as well as his professionalism during the time he serviced our units. He also found a potential problem and fixed it before we lost our A/C during a hot summer day. There are not many young people who value their work ethic like Zach. He has a bright future and we wish him well.

    We called for issues with our furnace. Brad was the technician that came out and was very thorough. He explained everything so we could understand. He got the heat working but we needed a part. He returned the next day with the part and fixed the issue quickly. We highly recommend this company and technician. Very satisfied with the service. 5 stars.

He was patient answering all my questions. I was so impressed that I signed up for their maintenance plan after Brad helped us. I recommend Lee Air Conditioning to anyone looking for an honest company.
