Excellent company! Dependable. They truly care about their customers. I waited over a month without heat to have another company waste my time order parts that didn’t fit. Only to end up saying they couldn’t get the proper parts as my unit was to old and they didn’t make the parts any more. Disappointment after disappointment. for weeks. I was getting desperate thinking I was going to have to purchase a new unit. Than along came Island Breeze. I did not tell them what the last company said I let them make their own diagnosis. Well we were up and running in a week. They also offer a maintenance program twice a year that is so reasonable I jumped on board the same day. So happy I have them now to take care of my units!
Joe, the technician that came out, was pleasant, professional and timely. He gets 5 stars. The coordination, or should I say, lack thereof, between the office staff, and the home warranty provider was dismal at best. A completely unnecessary hassle that ruined the experience for the customer. Due to their lack of professionalism in the office and coordination with the warranty company, I now have to go through this entire fiasco again to get the upstairs unit serviced.
Dishonest company and practice price gauging if you are using a home warranty company. Home AC unit broke and AHS sent Island Breeze. They indicated that the refrigerant was low in the unit and needed to add 2 1/2 pounds to fill the unit and quoted an out of pocket price of $425 and broke down to $180 per pound for R410-A refrigerant. After reviewing and receiving bids from other companies in the area all prices were $80 to $90 price per pound and they would not provide AHS with a diagnosis report or reported the out of pocket breakdown and failed to complete the repair and after several conversations with Island Breeze they failed to adjust price or send report to AHS. This is a company that base their reputation on being a Veteran owned company and supporting veterans and practice in my opinion price gouging. Just Awful.
