I had a great experience with Bill and Shawn! From start to finish they were very professional and friendly. As a home owner it is a pain to have your AC unit fail but if you hire these guys it makes the whole process a lot easier. They diagnosed the problem and had my new AC unit installed within 72 hours!!! The price was fair and worth every penny! Thank you Air Velocity !

Theses guys are super professional!!!! I have been in the contracting business for over 30 years and needed a new AC unit for my home so I called Air Velocity... got a great price and the installation was flawless. I was very impressed by the owner Bill and his operation. Pricing was easy, gave 3 options, communication and on time performance was great, the technician was a real professional and careful with my home. . The owner was here because he wants every installation to be right and every customer to be satisfied. I without hesitation recommend Air Velocity!

In 2016 they replaced our AC at our previous home. That experience was great, overall.

In 2017, we moved into a new home and were having difficulty with our AC cutting on and off in very short cycles. Air Velocity techs came out and spent a couple of hours on it and concluded that we needed a completely new system, but still charged us ~$300 for coolant and their time. I called another company and within an hour they were able to fix the issue. Apparently the system had been put in a test mode (perhaps during inspection?) and had not been returned to normal mode, which is why it was short cycling. An experienced technician ought to have realized this right away. It's 2020 and the exact same system is working fine for us.

In short, Air Velocity is probably okay if they install everything new, but beware if you need them to look at something they didn't install. At least that's my experience.

UPDATE: Air Velocity contacted me shortly after I posted this review and told me that they fired everyone from the time of my last service (2017) and, further, that my experience doesn't represent the way Air Velocity is today (2020). I was also offered a full refund, which I did not take.

Very impressed with Air Velocity service. The guys Bill & Shawn were amazingly helpful to us. We had a problematic unit and a second unit needing service. They got the second unit working to it’s potential and replaced the bad unit. Everything went smoothly and the guys were very efficient with their time. I will have them service my two units from now on. Great Job guys.

We had a new HVAC Unit installed as well as all new duct work. Bill and Shawn were awesome; they worked hard and were finished in two days. They were professional, honest, polite and cleaned up the jobsite when they were finished. Bill gave us good pricing and told us of rebates, etc. And I appreciated them taking off their shoes when entering the house. We would highly recommend them, as we were extremely pleased with everything!!

Our aging AC system finally died a few weeks ago. I reached out to Bill with Air Velocity and received a prompt response. He scheduled an appointment for Sean to come out within two days. Sean was also extremely knowledgeable and helpful during his inspection and diagnosis for our system. We did decide to go ahead and replace our old system with Air Velocity. Bill and Sean came out within the next week to replace the old system. Their attention to detail and focus on customer service really helped my family to stay at ease and feel like we were making a good decision. Air Velocity will be my go-to for anything HVAC related going forward!

I can't say enough to effectively convey how happy I am with Bill and his work. I had been waiting for 2 weeks to have an old unit replaced by another service provider who kept not calling me back or following up after the home visit. Finally the old unit quit once the temperature started getting above 95 outside. I called Bill and explained my situation and that we had one working unit so we weren't without AC but he still found time to get out and replace our unit within 5 days. He was polite and knowledgeable and got us installed with no problems. He's getting all our PM work as well now. He's a great find!

Upstairs A/C went out. Called on Monday morning and had a return call within 15 minutes. Bill had Shawn swing by a couple hours later even though they were slammed with work. He found a blown capacitor on the unit and replaced it. Cooling again! Thanks guys!

Bill gave us a quote on 2 HVAC Units 2 weeks ago. He was honest and up front with me with his recommendations. I had another quote from a slightly bigger company that sent a sales guy out that tried to sell me on things that I did not need. I felt very comfortable with the quote process.
Bill gave me a same day quote and a few days later I asked him to install. The installation was clean and efficient. Both units were installed in less than 2 days. I highly recommend this company.

I strongly recommend Air Velocity for any HVAC needs. July 2020 our upstairs unit quit and needed replacing (it was about 20 years old). Air Velocity responded same day, and within 24 hours we had a new system. Last night, our downstairs unit stopped working, and Bill came out this morning. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue.
