They responded quickly and provided me with 3 different options to fit my budget. Bill and Sean did all the work themselves and were both very knowledgeable, punctual and honest. Air Velocity has consistently provided quality service to our HVAC system for the last 3 years. We recently had to replace our A/C unit (Original unit on the house that was 14 years old). Bill and Shawn at Air Velocity was able to provide a very reasonable and expeditious quote. Within 5 days of receiving the quote they were able to complete the project (Only 1 day due to their hard work). Throughout the entire process they were extremely knowledgeable and professional. Our upstairs heat pump finally gave up the good fight after 20 years of service. Shawn has always been our dependable AC man for many years. He and Bill came out to measure, gave us a fair quote, and installed a brand new unit. They are both talented professionals that work so well together to solve such technical problems. The motor went out on my 30 year old heat pump. Mike from Mikes Heating and Air checked out my old system and recommended Air Velocity for a new system installation. I called Air Velocity and spoke to Bill, he came out the same day and worked up an estimate. We wanted all the air ducts below the house replaced also. Bill recommended a zone system for our house, as the in-law suite at the far end of the house always stays cooler than the rest of the house. Bill measured the whole house room by room and came up with an estimate through a CADD program.
We accepted the estimate and Bill promptly ordered the heat pump and all the duct work.
Bill and Shawn showed up as promised on the first day of the install. It was a very cold and windy day so they did all the duct work under the house. Bill and Shawn also brought us portable heaters to use in the house during the install as it got very cold that night (the heaters were much appreciated).
Bill and Shawn were very professional and worked well together. They kept us informed and answered questions all the way through the install. Shawn was very friendly and enjoyable to talk to.
We are very happy with the new Goldstar system. Through the zone system my mother-in-law now has a thermostat in her part of the house and can stay as warm as she wants.
I would recommend Air Velocity to anyone needing a new system or maintaining a system.

Shawn was super professional. Bill was great to work with over the phone as well. I called on Memorial Day and they were at the house the following morning. I would highly recommend them and I will use them from this point on for any HVAC repairs.

I’m beyond happy I called Velocity Air when we had an issue with our furnace draining. They came the next day and we’re very prompt. The issue wasn’t just resolved quickly, but he went over some concerns that we may face in the future. He even drew a picture for me to understand better. I wasn’t pressured at all on the spot to address the new issue. He was just informing us with options to help prevent a problem. He is tying up some quotes so we can decide if it’s something we’d like to get taken care of. They were polite, friendly, and were able to really communicate the situation to me in a way I’d understand. I’m so happy I chose them instead of a big company. Supporting local is the way to go. Small town feel! They also noticed a gas scent outside of my house and told me to call the gas department. I did and sure enough, we had a leak. If you’re reading comments to decide if you should choose them for your HVAC needs, I strongly suggest you give them a call!

I had a great experience working with Bill at Air Velocity. They installed a replacement HVAC system for our second level. The price was good and the customer service and professionalism was excellent.

My heat pump stopped working properly during the weekend of the first snowstorm of the year. Since it was the weekend and the roads were unsafe to drive, I had a difficult time locating a HVAC company to help me. I finally was able to reach Bill with Air Velocity and he couldn't have been more helpful. He instructed me on how to access my emergency heat until he could come out as soon as he could. When he did come to my home to look at my heat pump, he and his coworker were very professional, kind, and upfront about the cost of either temporarily fixing or replacing the unit. Couldn't have been more pleased with the service and highly recommend this company.
