Hands down the BEST AC guys around Lake Norman. We have been using Brothers for a few years now and they are always professional, responsive, and explain any repairs that are needed with detail. Highly recommend this company!

When we lived in Charlotte, we never had an issue with Brothers. So, when we moved to Salisbury and one of our HVAC units was going out, we called them. They replaced the HVAC unit, installed 2 new Nest thermostats, and replaced our water heater. Tech did wire the upstairs thermostat wrong but he fixed it before he left. No harm, no foul.
This month, our upstairs Nest thermostat was giving a 'no power' error. We called Brothers and made an appointment for Monday (7/3) between noon and 8. 8 rolled around with no contact so, after two phone calls to them, we found out they were behind and we'd be on the schedule the next day between 8-10 (7/4). No contact from Brothers once 10 rolled around and again, we had to reach out twice. Once, was told dispatcher would call (they didn't); finally was told tech had an emergency. We were scheduled for the next afternoon (7/5). They did call to reschedule til today (7/6) and then this morning called to push us off til tomorrow (7/7). We'd already put in a call to another company, which said they'd try to work us in.
Stout Heating & Air came out today and repaired the problem within 30 seconds (clogged drain). We will never call Brothers again. The handling of our situation was unprofessional, especially since we have been repeat customers.

A Brothers van went down my street a couple weeks ago with the back door open. Equipment flew out the back and nearly hit a person on the sidewalk. I've called them twice to come pick it up at my house and they said they would but so far nothing. They are lucky they aren't getting sued.

A/C unit stopped working. Repair tech came out, flipped the circuit breaker back on, said "it's fixed" and left. Went off again quickly. Electrician inspected and confirmed our new electrical system functioning well, and called to have Brothers come fix the A/C (it's on their maintenance plan). Was given an appt with a 7 hour window, after it expired (at 7pm) was called and told they couldn't make it, and would be out the next day. Again, waiting through the 7 hour window, called twice to confirm appt and was assured they'd be there to do the work. They never showed up, never called.
I understand that they get busy, but it's just not acceptable to take our our money, leave us without A/C and then never even bother to show up or call us.
Never trust them and won't give them my business again.

Called and they said they would be out to fix a water leak. Called the next day to see when they would be out, Sienna, told me I was scheduled and they would be out, waited 2 hours called again was told again they would be out, waited 2 more hours still no one. Called again and Sienna said it would be next day, she guaranteed me they would be out, at 10 o'clock. Well at 10 o'clock I called and they said I was scheduled. I called someone else and they fixed my leak. I will never call Brothers again. They never came to my house.

BEWARE: Called Brothers about an water leak at my property that was affecting my neighbors. I expressed concern about getting the issue resolved as soon as possible. However there was no sense of urgency. This should have been a sign to call another company. Called three times for an update to be reassured technician would be coming. After waiting nearly 8 hours, I received a call canceling my appointment and offered to reschedule a couple of days later..Are you kidding me! I can’t believe the lack of concern and professionalism. If you are in need of plumbing repairs, DON’T CALL BROTHER’s!!!

June 26, 2023 I was having issues with my AC conditioning unit. A technician came over and her name was Amber. Amber knew what she was talking about. However, instead of her trying to help me solve the problem I was having she instantly wanted me to speak with one of her other associates, who was selling an HVAC system, which she would receive some type of commission on. I did not appreciate Amber responses when it came to me asking her “ if I was to pay this fee $609 with this issue be fixed” her response was not a definite answer it was more of a “ in theory in theory and theory” I end up paying the service fee which was $116 and I believe she knew what the problem was. However, she was looking to overcharge me on certain things to make a quick buck. I called appliance medic CLT and they were able to assess the problem. Same day within 2 to 3 hours my air-conditioning unit was back online and they gave me various solutions on why my particular air-conditioning unit was not functioning and how I can do some preventative maintenance to keep it running, even though it’s the older AC unit. If you were to ask me “ would I refer this company to anyone else?” my answer will be no every single time.

I recently had a horrific experience with this HVAC company that I feel compelled to share. Their incompetence and blatant disregard for safety have left me utterly disappointed and frustrated. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to steer clear.
During what was supposed to be a routine HVAC tune-up, the technicians managed to create more problems than they resolved. To my astonishment, they unplugged my compressor without my consent, claiming that there was a gas leak. I found their actions suspicious from the start, but the worst was yet to come.
Rather than providing a proper diagnosis or offering a feasible solution, they shamelessly attempted to upsell me not just one, but two new HVAC units along with exorbitant labor costs, totaling a staggering $24,000. To add insult to injury, they presented me with a so-called "discount," which was nothing more than a laughable attempt to justify their inflated prices.
The most alarming aspect of this entire ordeal was the dangerous situation they created. By unplugging my compressor and tampering with other wires, they exposed my home to potential fire hazards. It is deeply unsettling to think about the disastrous consequences that could have ensued if I hadn't taken immediate action to rectify their negligence.
As a result, I was forced to hire another company to fix the problems they caused. Not only did this incur additional expenses, but it also caused significant inconvenience and wasted time. I should never have been put in this position in the first place.
In light of their unprofessional behavior and blatant disregard for safety, I firmly believe that this HVAC company should not be in business. Their actions demonstrate a lack of integrity, professionalism, and expertise. I urge others to take this review seriously and find a reputable HVAC provider that prioritizes customer satisfaction and safety above all else.
Avoid this company at all costs!

I used them to put in a new unit in December 2020. They had to come back out next day to fix one thing and then about 1 month later to replace a control board. Worked good for 2 years but, called to have checked and parts under warranty but t wanted to charge 700.00 for labor for. 20 minute job. Needless to say I made a poor choice on whom to do business with. Customer service terrible and Jason is arrogant. Please if you are wanting to spend 10-15k on a unit… use a company that you are not paying for their commercials etc. NEVER USE THEM again

Pointless company. Why make an appointment to not show up, call or text that there is a delay. Waited over 30 minutes past our appointment time. Had to call to find out where the technician was, told they were stuck in traffic but no communication from anyone. Our time is just as valuable. Very poor business practices.
