I used Stone Services for the first time this week. I will definitely keep coming to them - it's so good to find a company I feel good about calling. My favorite bits: fixed by hvac problem, came in the time window they said, came out the day I called, communicated well verbally and in the invoice (I really like good communication), professional and thoughtful.

We needed to replace our aging HVAC system, and Stone was able to engineer a much more efficient system for us. They were polite and professional, and got us set up even under Covid lockdown conditions.

We've had the system for 7 months now, and it continues to perform well. We're also signed up with their yearly maintenance plan. I would recommend them for anyone with HVAC needs in the Chatham area.

Six years ago, I got a referral from a neighbor for Stone Services. My HVAC system had conked out and needed to be replaced. I was single at the time and worried that a dishonest company might try to sell me something too expensive, or would do work that was subpar. My neighbor, who was also single at the time, had already worked with Stone when they replaced her HVAC, and she highly recommended them.
Mr. Stone worked with me personally to make sure I knew all the options available and understood what each would provide. I got a system that has run exceptionally well and is of high quality; the price I paid for it was very reasonable.
Last month, my husband and I began the process of selling the home. The pre-inspection that was done measured the operation of the HVAC unit at 100%. So, six years in, the system is working as if it is brand new.
Stone Services has maintained regular maintenance of the system all these years. They have always taken care of it, and have done the cleaning of the ionizer they installed at my request when the system went in. They have kept this investment, both the HVAC and the ionizer, working at top efficiency.
The power bill went down after the install, and has remained very low. In fact, the monthly report we get from the power company shows our consumption compared to efficient homes and regular homes. We are nearly always only slightly above the efficient home usage. We know that a big part of it comes from Stone having put in the right system for this home.
I have also needed to call them in twice during the house sale to present details of the system to the buyers. Each time, they have responded quickly and have been very supportive. They have helped even this process go smoothly.
Stone Services really does go above and beyond. They care about every client, and they have proven to be quality professionals at every step. We're going to have them work on the HVAC in our new home, and will set up a service contract for the new house. Customers for life!

We've used Stone Services for 2 houses now over the last 10 years. The technicians are very knowledgeable, don't push services you don't need, and are very friendly. They helped one 15 year old system keep working longer than many of our neighbors with similar houses/systems. I highly recommend them to everyone.

Stone Services always promptly responds to us, regularly services our system well, and recently installed a new and excellent HVAC system which is far superior to what we had before. After Hurricane Florence, our power went out and the system didn't come back with the power, but Stone had someone here promptly to fix the problem.

Stone Services has been our HVAC company since building our home 16 years ago. Their advisers and service technicians are top notch and respond quickly when we have heating or cooling problems. So glad we have them!

We have been using Stone Services for the past three years and every experience has been easy and satisfactory. We've got an older heat pump that has been limping along probably way past its time, but the guys at Stone Services have never made me feel pressured into buying a new one. Instead, they have continued to help us find ways on keeping the old unit functioning to its highest capacity. Every season they've come out to fix this or that while also providing me with some tips on how I can keep it maintained myself. They always do a great job of educating me on how the system works and showing me exactly what they are doing to maintain it. Just recently our A/C froze over on one of the hottest days of the year so far. Since all of the service technicians were already out on call helping other people, Mr. Stone himself drove out to our house to personally take a look at the situation and get us back up and running. The fact that Mr. Stone dropped what he was doing to come help out a customer in need just shows the level of commitment to quality that his company has.
