    After a thorough review of our system by another company, I received an estimate from that company to replace two bad capacitors and a contactor in our heat pump. The total was over $700, so I declined the repair service.

    I looked up the pricing on the parts and bought two of them for less than $50. I then called Mike's Heating and Cooling and spoke with Josh who was very helpful. He gave me a price of $50 for the third part I needed and $85 to install all three. Less than 48 hours later, the technician DJ had them installed and our system is now working great. In the end I spent less than $200 for everything, which was significantly less expensive than going with the original quote I had received from a different company.

    I am very happy with Mike's Heating and Cooling and plan to use them in the future if/when the need arises.

    Billy Fryar's insatallation team installed an new Goodman Heat pump system - Compressor, outside, air handler with E-Heat inside and a new Honeywell wi-Fi thermostat. Completley removed the old system and installed the new system in one day after receiving all the components from the manufacturer. Great job, done by competant and pleasant workers!

    AIr conditioning went out on the hottest day of the year. Called Mike's, Dawn came and repaired the unit as soon as the part came in. Dawn was so pleasant and professional, it was wonderful to have a woman do the repair. We have used Mike's for 15 years, wouldn't call anyone else. Hope they send Dawn again. 😊

    Mikes provided rapid response to schedule a tech inspection for a home we are purchasing. Forest came out for a pre purchase inspection of AC and heat systems. He showed expertise and was thorough in all aspects of his inspection and made sure we understood his assessment and recommendations for repairs once we complete our purchase. We will definitely have Mikes perform planned maintenance for this new home as we have in our existing property.

    When assessing my system and repair issue, I was given detailed and clear information, including a range of options, with low to no sales pressure about what to do, or when (there was not a crisis requiring immediate action). When I selected a system and a miscommunication happened regarding the installation, they were eager to take full responsibility to ensure my satisfaction. These people go out of their way to make sure their customers are happy. Highly recommended!

    I have been with Mike's for at least 5 years--paying for my twice a year maintenance in advance. In May I expected them to phone but did not hear from them. So in June I phoned to get my spring maintenance & was told the scheduler is "no longer doing it". The soonest they could do it was July 10th--about a month wait. July 10 no one arrived. I phoned to be told no one would be coming as someone had just quit. The next available date would be in the later part of Aug. I told them they breached the contract I had with them to service my system every six months and I had paid in advance. I was told I would get a pro-rated refund. None ever arrived--I have called back several times and was told a "woman" was working on it. I requested an email stating I would get a refund. I was assured this would happen. Today is July 26. I doubt I will get an email much less a refund and I doubt this company will be in business much longer.
