Mike's Heating and Cooling

Mike's was excellent! They did a full install (duct work and all). Curtis did our estimate and was patient and was available day our night for all our questions. The install crew was great. They did a great job and were incredibly respectful of our home and property. It was a great experience all the way around.

I picked Mike's Heating based on the awesome Google reviews, and I'm so glad I did. The service on the phone was MUCH better than anywhere else I talked to. Professional, friendly, timely. In the middle of a cold week they were able to get to me two days faster than anyone else I called.
Cody checked my whole system to make sure I didn't run into any additional problems, explained what my issue was and how he was going to fix it. He genuinely enjoyed his job, and was professional around my family while working. I had a complex home warranty for the work, and he took care of it with ease. I've been looking for a solid HVAC contractor for a while, and I will use Mike's from now on. There's a reason the reviews are so good - they actually do a good job!

Our AC was not working when we got back to Asheville on a Friday. Not having air for the weekend was not something I wanted to deal with. It was quite hot so I called Mike's Heating and Cooling and they had a tec over within an hour. Replaced some freon and we had our air back.

Forest came out on a Friday afternoon after looking over our property he said he would give us an estimate when he got back to his van. He said he was having a hard time getting service to give us the estimate and said he would give us the estimate when he got home later that night, okay no problem with that. Saturday morning came still no estimate, asked him again about the estimate and said he would give it to us Sunday afternoon, still no estimate. Called mikes heating and cooling office on Monday and made of them aware of what’s going and and they promised I would have my estimate later that day. Well still no estimate. Sound like this company doesn’t care if they get your business or not. I never leave reviews, but when people are spending over 10,000 they want a responsive company.

I’m sure the company will respond and claim what I’m saying isn’t true, but rest assured it is true.

The young man that comes to do maintenance checks on our units is very good. He takes his time and does a great job.

Top notch! I have worked in commercial construction for over 20 years and worked with a lot of hvac contractors. Mike's is a keeper. I got estimates from several contractors to replace a 2.5 ton split system unit and Mike's not only had the best price, but the most knowledgable folks. The entire process and install was seamless and there weren't any surprises. Everyone on Mike's team was courteous and professional and I will definitely be hiring them again when my other old unit croaks. Thank you.

Awesome experience! Quick diagnostics and made our propane furnace so much more efficient than it has been (installed 2 years ago by Gentry). In just two days since servicing there is a world of difference with how much warmer the house is - simply due to incorrect propane settings from the original installation. So glad we called!

From Attorney James Mills, who actually doesn't have a Google account: On Christmas Eve, my heat stopped working. I called Mike’s Heating & Cooling, and they sent somebody out to diagnose the issue that same day! Unfortunately, it could not be fixed immediately, but within a week I had a brand new unit installed in a very professional manner, and at a very reasonable price. I could not be happier with the service that I received from Kim, Billy, Tim, and all the staff at Mike’s Heating & Cooling, and would recommend them every time.

First time using this company after bad experience with another. Mike's people were all courteous and efficient and the tech arrived as scheduled, with phone contact to let us know he was on the way. Repair of our heat pump was done quickly and he was respectful of us and our home. We will definitely call on them in future.
