Called this morning at 8:30 and my dryer was fixed by 11:00am. Terry knew exactly how to fix it and the job was done in 15 minutes. He stocked the parts he needed to fix the problem and this was absolutely the best appliance repair experience I've ever had. Will be calling them every time!

This was just a horrible experience.....canceled because of the rain when the work needing done was in a covered and 100% dry environment. When I questioned them on it, got more belligerent and when I tried to get them to answer why I received no callback to reschedule they got extremely loud and hung up. When I called back the technician came on the phone belligerent said calls were recorded and when I questioned him on the fact the area he would have been working in was 100% dry he became belligerent and eventually hung up. Please fo not utilize these horrible horrible people.my pregnant wife was at home all day waiting for them to come out and they just left her hanging

I needed someone to replace the lid switch on my washing machine as the cycle would not begin after the machine filled with water.
I called T&C for an appointment, and was advised they could come out the next day. $75 diagnostic fee and this would go towards the cost of the repair.. Sounds good

The technician was a no show. No one answered when I called them. An hour later, here's the technician.
I immediately explain that the cycle will not begin when the lid closes and stated that the machine is not recognizing that the lid is closed.
A minute later I hear the water running. I walk in and say, it took me over 30 minutes to remove the water with a cup. Technician asked "it does drain though right?"
UH NO...that's part of CYCLE WILL NOT BEGIN. '
He then steps outside to call someone to find out what to do.

He comes back in, runs the water again (???) and says "its the lid switch".
He asks if i have a shopvac [to drain the water] ( I just told you i used a cup to empty the water last time) NO, i replied.
He then says they'll come back with a shop vac and another technician to replace the lid switch and drain the water. Total cost $ 260.00.
UM????
Says the part is $50.00.
So this means the part replacement costs 135.00?
Lets not forget the $75.00 for the diagnosis... its included IN the repair...so its actually 210.00 for them to replace it - plus the 50$ part.
I declined the repair. His facial expression was that of _ been here before.
Then asked what my payment method would be.
QUITE A RACKET THEY HAVE GOING ON!!!!!

I then received a call from T&C. OH MY.
He asked about my complaint. I began with the hour late part - to which he replied "yeah weve been busy"
I asked - why couldnt someone call?
He said -"were you home?" in a condescending tone as if i wasnt doing anything anyway.
I replied _ yes, i was, i am working, but i am home. (i work from home)
He continued to be verbally combative and spoke over me while interrupting. Then said that he doesnt come to my house asking for my expertise...that the technician had to test the machine.
I said i get that- i do....but he didnt need to fill it half way- he could have filled it an inch to test it.
He said you call the experts for a reason. Why did you call us if you already know what to do? Its only 75$.
I yelled over him - he yelled over me

I am so done! I do not recommend any company that treats a consumer in such a manner.
If i could 0-star these fools - i would!!!!

Came to service my broken dishwasher and were able to immediately identify the problem and cost. I elected not to repair due to age of the machine and they provided me best appliance advice and cost to install and remove the old unit. Would recommend and will use again.

Recent problems with my oven door required a repair. Luckily i was able to find T&C Appliance Repair. They were able to repair our oven here at home so it was stress-free. The T&C staff were prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. I plan to use them in the future. By the way we live in Chapel Hill and they were able to service this area.

Came out and diagnosed the issue and had our washer back up and running that week. (A part had to be ordered or it would have been repaired that day)

Told me it was one thing then payed for the repair turn out to be something else then tried to recharge me for what was supposed to be fix and stormed out terrible company to use

Terrible experience. First they came 45 minutes early and left immediately when i wasn't there. Then after rescheduling, they came a week later and charged me $330 (i was quoted $85 on the phone) to hook up my refrigerator and washer/dryer which took them literally less than 10 minutes
