Sila Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electrical

Had hot water heater bust 3 days before Christmas. Team was very responsive getting a tech to my home in a few hours. Had parts in stock and new hot water heater installed next day.

Freddy was friendly, respectful and knowledgeable. He was great about explaining the items he was checking for our annual AC maintenance as well as the reasons for a repair that was needed and the possible options. He did not pressure me to complete all of the recommended repairs; he simply listed the options and explained which ones were most critical to ensure continued operation of our air conditioning unit.

10/25/22, Calverton arrived on time. He was professional, courteous & polite. He has 7 years experience & loves what he does. He performed a heating system tune up. He took photos of all of the heater elements & what was tested (good use of visual aids). He informed me that the ignitor sensor was showing signs of wear, but he cleaned it & told me that it was still working fine. He informed me that the replacement cost of that part including labor is approx $220 with taxes. Due to his knowledge & expertise, he will now be my "go to guy" at Sila (the last "go to guy" was transferred to a newly acquired Sila company).

We had water pouring down from our attic ac into a bedroom, and Sandro was able to help us fix the problem and minimize the damage. We were very happy with the service that he provided. He was very nice, professional, and did a great job. We will definitely be calling on him again if needed!

I am happy that I have the opportunity to share the experience of our initial meeting with Ivan. Our wish was to have the duct work reworked to have more air flow and eliminate an odor in the bedroom and kitchen and to reposition a flexible hose in the basement for aesthetic reasons. What impressed me from the beginning was Ivan’s quest and ability to understand what we wanted and then to clarify our understanding of what he was proposing. During this time of conversation he was so polite and extremely patient with addressing all of our concerns. Ivan’s knowledge of duct work and how things work seemed unending and his ability to share his wisdom in a manner that we could understand the reason why things needed to be done in a certain way were impressive. His gentle and caring manner never made us feel pressured and we felt that we could trust in his advice. His introduction was sent by text and stated that “If Ivan is your technician you’re in great hands”. We agree and have already scheduled an appointment for Ivan to begin work next week which will also include some other issues that we knew needed to be addressed.

We received excellent service, including a detailed explanation of how to keep it running optimally throughout the cooling season.

Our house was on the market for 2 years before we purchased it. It had a lot of issues with with the boiler and humidifier and HVAC and even vents. Nigel was through and very professional.

I lost power for 2 days before Xmas, finally I got it back but my heating system failed so I called Sila company. They said that some will come and try to fix it. Unfortunately guy couldn't fix or find correct problems but convince me to get another guy who can help me with getting new furnace so I said ok. After 1 h another guy coming and tells me that new furnace cost 14k!!!! So I lost it and decided to go to some independent contractor and he found problem , that problem wasn't furnace but heating coil in air handler.....simple Sila company try ripped me off or they hire dumb specialists who has no clue!
