Crossfield Heating & Air Conditioning

We had a new Trane air conditioning system installed by Crossfield technicians Chris and Brian. Both were professional and knowledgeable. Although the system's evaporator coil had to be replaced due to a faulty valve, the whole Crossfield team was engaged to diagnose the problem. Within a day Brian installed a new evaporator coil and got the system up and running. I am completely satisfied withe the Crossfield Team. Kudos to Corey for his professional sales presentation which is the reason I chose Crossfield in the first place. Dave McEwen

I had a great experience using Crossfield to replace my furnace and air conditioner with a new Trane heat pump. Jordan was very knowledgeable and patiently explained the nuts and bolts of how heat pumps work. Rob S., Tim W. and Mike S. installed the system in a clean and professional manner. I appreciated the care they took in leveling the new pad for the compressor and leveling off with topsoil. Couldn't ask for better. Jason answered my questions afterwards and got things working perfectly. Highly recommend.

We were fortunate to have Matt, Rob L. and Brian complete our install. These three guys were work horses! They were professional, courteous and efficient. They arrived on time and immediately got to work - I was very impressed by how quickly they worked and the quality of their work. We have used Crossfield Heating and Air Conditioning for several years for annual maintenance as well as replacement of our Furnace, Air Conditioner and hot water heater, and just recently for the installation of a Air Scrubber system. We stay with them because of the quality work they do, the professionalism of the sales person (Mark Stevens), the labor guarantee, and the skill of the technicians. We recently had Mike S. and Eric H install the Air Scrubber system - they did a great job, were polite and professional, cleaned up the work area and explained how to use the system thoroughly. The team, led by Rob S., was on-time, courteous, professional and responsive to any and all questions. They did a thorough tutorial on running the system and left the work areas clean and in order. Corey their sales person was knowledgeable and knew exactly what my house would need. He was also verry accommodating in scheduling the work.
Rob, Matt, Mike and Ryan did the installation and testing of the new furnace and central air conditioner. They were timely, neat, efficient, professional and helpful in explaining the new system and how the new thermostat works.

We purchased a new air conditioner from Crossfield Heating and Air Conditioning recently and scheduled the installation date at that time. We received a reminder notice the day before the installation was scheduled. Todd R was our service technician. He arrive before 8:30 AM and immediately set to work. Todd was working back and forth between the outside and the basement where our furnace is located. Our basement is fully finished and carpeted and Todd was conscientious in wearing protective "booties" any time he came inside. By 3 PM the work was complete. The new unit works beautifully. When Todd left, everything had been cleaned up and left just as it had been before he arrive.

Woke to no heat. After troubleshooting to no avail, I placed a call to our twenty+ year heating contractor, Crossfield, at 11:32 AM. Imagine my dismay when a tech. named Jay returned my call and informed me that, due to the fact I did not have a Service Contract, he could not schedule a service call. Additionally he stated the company was not accepting new contracts or new customers. He said I could call the office on Monday. That's a pretty gruesome response for “24 hour service”.
According to Crossfield's Service manager Frank Chalk, “they were really busy” Sunday. He might be able to schedule me for Monday afternoon.
Seems I was expecting too much from Crossfield after spending more than $6000.00 with them over the years.
Called John Betlem Heating later that Sunday and was able to set up an appointment for Monday.
John Betlem arrived Monday early at 11:15 AM and completed the service call in an hour.
Prompt, courteous and competent.

I had Crossfield Heating install a mini-split system. Rob S, Eric H, and Mike S arrived by 8:30. They introduced themselves to me and we went for a walk around to see the level of expertise needed to complete the project. A game plan was established and off they went to work. I found all three to be competent and communicated well with me and each other. The system was tested and it worked as designed. They picked up their mess and showed my wife and I how to operate the system. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I will use them again for any of my heating and cooling needs.

Awesome job! Mike, Todd, Matt and Brian arrived on time as scheduled and were courteous. They installed a new heating system (furnace) and A/C unit without any issues. Communication was excellent. I arrived home upon their completion and Mike patiently walked me through set up of my new thermostat. Highly recommended for all your HVAC needs!
