I have availed myself of Kevin's assistance twice now. I only have a heating system so far (it's an older home) and Kevin has helped on both occasions in modernization of what we have, and has done so in a clean, efficient, professional manner and has done so in cases where other professional folks have been unable or unwilling to accommodate my wishes. If you have a boiler or some thermostat wiring that just isn't cooperating, let Kevin try. I would be willing to bet he knows how to make it work, or at least diagnose the problem and know what steps need to be taken. Very patient, always willing to explain as much as you'd like to know, and a good educator as well.

What can I say, but the words of gratitude for meeting Kevin. His professionalism and knowledge in all thing attached to NEST and HVAC is outstanding. He rescued me after an unsuccessful previous service and from sleeping in cold weather. He stayed to make sure my heater sends hot air not cold. He is a miracle men, don't look for anyone else, give him a ring. Thank you Kevin .

I was confident that Kevin is the guy for the job after speaking with him on the phone. My doorbell rang exactly 1pm when he said he will be there. Kevin was very professional he really knows his stuff and his way around my boiler and hvac system, I looked at him every step and he was not guessing, confused, or trying to figure out stuff like other guys, he did some re-wiring install some device and changed out a part that was bad as he had it in stock. Heat failed and as you can imagine, it was quite cold. Found the business online and was able to get same day service. Kevin was quick to respond and professional. Was able to repair my old system (sensor) and even replaced a new belt I had. Would definitely recommend and use in the future.

I have had this company out to my Brooklyn home twice, for thermostat installation & boiler maintenance. Each time the service was punctual, professional, and friendly. They even came same-day for a heat emergency in the freezing cold. Will definitely be hiring them again.

Jan 2019 Update: Hired them again! They came the day after I called and solved heat issue within an hour. I even scheduled the appointment via text message - super easy and convenient. Can't recommend enough.

I had 3 Nest thermostats installed and developed a problem with one. My HVAC company was not familiar with the Nest product so I searched the Nest website and found Air Mechanical a company that services HVAC as well as installs all Nest products. Called Kevin at 8am on a Sunday morning and he was at my house at 12pm the same day! He was prompt, courteous and quickly diagnosed the issue with my system. Took care of everything the same day. I could not be happier with the level of service I received. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Air Mechanical did an excellent job connecting a zoned air conditioner to my Nest. Kevin came on time, was very professional and knowledgeable. Most importantly, he knew exactly what he was doing—checking the wiring for the whole system and even helped connect the ducking in the attic.

Simple rules of hiring a skilled pro.

1. Do they ask for pictures/descriptions? (Do they care or do they just want the service call dollars?)
2. Do they back up their work with a guarantee? (No payment needed if the problem isn't solved.)

If you landed at this review after having multiple "pros" taking service call fee for problems that they did not solve nor come back for, hire Kevin and his company. I've consulted with him for a Nest troubleshooting and he made it look too easy and put the previous two companies I've wasted money on to shame.
