Amazing and professional service technician for my annual start up. Technician Wilson was very knowledgeable, taught me the ins and outs of my system. Respectful, Professional, knowledgeable, everything you want in a service being provided. Grade A job! Everyone at this company from install to service has been amazing. Definite recommend!

If you're looking to do ductless units in your house and come across this review, go with another company. The guy who came out was a very nice guy but he gave me a long list of "we don't do that".

If you're the company and reading this, you really need to broaden the service you offer for ductless unit. You won't do a hyper heat installation (a $20K job) because it involves a branch box? Come on, step your game up.

Great company . I hired them for a condenser and air handler replacement. Service was great, and they were able to provide the best pricing out of 5 estimates from local competitors. Since my condenser was busted they also provided me with a loaner unit to use until they could install the new equipment at no additional charge.

Let me preface by saying that both my husband and I are commercial MEP engineers. Literally the toughest critics of proposed solutions and installations in this field.

This winter, we had a problem with our super high efficiency boiler which is only 5 years old. We called the company who installed it (previous owners) to have them service it. They came out twice but could not figure it out - which is nuts because the system literally has a digital screen which was displaying the problem. They offered no solution other than to send a third tech out. No thanks.

A friend recommended Gelber so I thought we would give them a try. We scheduled and they came out - even though they mentioned that our boiler was not one that they regularly service. The serviceman was able to identify the problem immediately (a hot water line temp sensor). The part took a few days but he was able to bypass the sensor in the meantime.

As an aside, scheduling was simple and clear. It was explained that our request would fall under an emergeny call, pricing was fixed, and the repair would be labor + materials beyond that.

This spring we started looking at adding A/C to our home. My husband works from home and on those calmer summer days, he is hot. Yes, crazy that we don't have it already but we have a nice breeze off the water and I like fresh air, lol. Anyways, we have limited outdoor space to put the condensing unit and I am VERY particular about the look of the unit and the refrigerant lines going up and in to the house. We are on a corner lot so there is a lot of exposure..blah, blah, blah...

I spoke to an office person at Gelber who was able to not only explain how they install their line hide (standard) but also refer me to locations where I could view similar installations.

They also expressed their lead time for new installations. It was pretty far out due to existing maintenance contracts this time of year but that is OK for me since we have been without it for so long.

I am really looking forward to working with them in the future. And my husband is really looking forward to his new office AC!

Met with Jordan at a few home shows and always discussed my needs for a new ac unit. I was hesitant to replace the unit because it was in a very tricky spot in the attic. Jordan came by and said it wouldn’t be a problem. True to his word they made it no problem. Great work guys !! Neat, expedient, and super clean! Would refer you to anyone needing ac work done👍

We highly recommend Gelber and sons. We did a new air conditioning system and an oil to gas boiler conversion. They are professional and were very attentive to detail. We were extremely happy with both and recommend Gelber without any hesitation.

We have been using Gelber for years. After maintaining the system for many years, we finally had to upgrade to a new system. They mapped out everything and we have been totally pleased with the heating and air conditioning in every room of the house. These guys are top notch.

This company did not do a manual j calculation and as a result very over sized units. I got a 12,000 BTU ductless mini split system (1 ton) for a room that is only 150 square feet. I have another room across the hall with roughly the same footage and I got the same unit from them. So basically I got 2 tons for 300-350 or so square feet.

I had a few issues as a result and some of them not resolved and others related to humidity resolved by my own ideas and research. Humidity issue was definitely from the units being over sized. They were supposed to call carrier about changing the offset temperature to help but I never heard anything. The owner didn't even have the decency to call me back and discuss my last issue, and why it wont be fixed and why I was treated and talked to the way I was by the secretary and service tech. I believe by code an HVAC company cannot over size by this much even if it is a mini split. On a side note the installers are great. I will be using another company from now on to help with my issues.

4/29/21 I know I said I would never write another review but after dealing with an other HVAC company I must. I used another company to try and fix my Carrier mini split issue as discussed in my other reviews. They dealt with Carrier since Carrier won't directly deal equipment issues, you haver to use an HVAC company. Anyway, Carrier told them there is nothing they can do as of now due to the fact the unit was improperly installed as far as the location in the room with clearances and the units are oversized for the space as mentioned in other reviews. So basically I am stuck with this unit not working properly unless I spend more money to have it done right. I also find it fitting that the owner of the company still has never discussed this issue with me.

Juan came to my house yesterday to do my annual spring servicing of my central air conditioning unit. Through the years all the men who have come to perform this service have been great, but Juan was even better. He worked quickly and efficiently and showed himself to be both skilled and capable, in addition to being polite and personable.
