I am a 30yr customer of Gelber & Sons. They installed my first central AC unit back in the 90s. Just recently the central ac shut down and we are in the middle of the hottest days this summer. The temperature in the house got to 95 degrees at its high points. I called and asked to have someone come out and take a look at the unit and see what if anything could be done. Now keep in mind this unit is very old and I was not expecting a miracle but they showed up and did an inspection of the unit and determined that the capacitor had blown and that's what caused the shut down. Now the unit needs to be replaced due to its age but Gelber & Son's was able to get the unit working again by replacing the capacitor. With the new capacitor the unit will keep us cool for the time being until we get a brand new AC unit installed in August. They were professional and took the time to do their best to get my unit up and running again. We will be getting our new AC unit from them and look forward to another 30yrs as their customer. A+++

The Gelber and sons technicians did an amazing job for us today. We moved into a home with an electric heat pump and knew nothing about it. When it stopped working, the service techs came and thoroughly assessed the situation until we decided the best course of action. Today we had the work done and I could not be happier. Not only did they get the unit working, which we are grateful for, but also Gelber’s team was courteous, neat, timely, friendly, and understood my anxiety because work was being done to newly renovated areas! I’ve always appreciated Gelber and sons, and today just further solidified that feeling.

Installed a two ton unit at the end of September. They arrived on time. There were 5 men. Put down covering to protect the house. Everyone had a specific task and went to work immediately. They addressed all questions. The work performed was excellent. They left the house as clean as when they arrived.
I recommend them. Price was competitive.

Marco did a great job finding the issue and fixing the problem within minutes. Plus for the foot booties!

I recently had a new ductless AC system installed by Stanley Gelber & Sons. I was extremely pleased and impressed by the level of customer service provided throughout the whole process. The company came recommended by friends. I still obtained quotes from three or four different companies and Gelber pricing was right on target and actually slightly cheaper than the others. Jordan spent time with us during the sales meeting at our house and made sure he sized our house correctly. Then Valerie from the Sales office kept us updated throughout the whole process, including permit paperwork and status, scheduling, and answering any questions we had. When the installers arrived, there were some installation decisions that had to be made and I was very impressed by the end result. The units were installed neatly in the rooms, the installers were very polite and clean throughout. The routing of the piping on the outside of the house was also done to keep it as neat looking as possible, and some design decisions were made the routing of the piping as discreet as possible. Once the system was up and running the installation crew explained to me how everything worked. They cleaned up everything and when they left you would never know I just had an installation done. The house and yard were in perfect condition. I am extremely pleased with the process from start to finish, and the staff and crew were all very professional and respectful throughout. I highly recommend Stanley Gelber & Sons!

I worked with Jordan and Brian on replacing my AC and oil furnace with new electric heat pumps and new ducts. They were outstanding start to finish. Very responsive, very communicative and helpful throughout the entire process. Highly recommend.

I recently had a new tankless gas heating system installed in my home, replacing an oil system that was 67 years old. The entire team at Stan Gelber was terrific to work with…professional, courteous, and very experienced. They office staff walked me through every phase of the project, from the paperwork, permits, installation, and clean-up. A special shout out the the installation crew who were respectful, pleasant and hard working. The entire process was seamless. The heating unit in my house was no longer working and the part that needed to bereplaced could not be found from any other vendor. We called about a dozen places and they all told my husband and I that the part was back ordered for at least two weeks. When I called Stan gelber, not only did they have the part but they came to my house the very next day to install it.
