REALLY ITS MINUS 1. This is my second review and I haven’t seen them since May 2018. We are having work done in the house and are hiring a contractor that does insulation. He went up to our attic & He noticed all of our insulation was moved and pushed over our entire attic to accommodate the air handler that they installed. They never put the insulation back where it belonged. I cannot believe that anyone would ever recommend this company. We paid a fortune for this installation. And they didn’t even remove piping from my old unit. It’s still protruding from the house.I’ve had many HVAC companies come and they all have said that this job looks like it was done from an amateur

These guys were awesome to work with. Everyone on their crew is also extremely friendly and pleasant. The radiant heat in my house broke in December. I had very few options to overhaul my entire heating system. They put in a new unico system and 3 minisplits in 4 days. Even had 6 guys in my house at one time. Couldn't be happier with the experience. Thanks guys!!

Called on hot Friday afternoon. Central Air not working. Mechanic came same time and concluded new motor needed. Spoke to Susan in office. Informed her I have health issues and was grateful that a mechanic was scheduled for the next day. It is 3 o’clock on Saturday and the house is cooling down.

I had my old central ac replaced with a new unit which costed me $7200. During the installation, they find a copper pipe that was damaged bc of a recent roofing job that was done. (I am guessing that this is why my old unit was not working and if I fixed this, I didn't need a new ac.) After the one day job was complete, I get a bill for another $600 to repair the copper pipe. I was not told during the contract signing or when they found the copper pipe that there would be an extra charge, I tried to reason with them but they said that they will void my warranty and not process my rebate if I don't pay. I feel like I'm paying for a new ac unit AND paying for a repair job for my old unit. Very, very disappointed with Stan Gelber.

Rip off artists these HVAC contractors are. Technician damaged the compressor on one of 3 of my AC units then asked me not to tell the office he touched it in exchange for the fact that he will only charge me for servicing 2 units. Wow what a favor he did for me! Turns around and tells me since the compressor is dead he needs to replace the ENTIRE unit, including the indoor air handler and all parts in between which are working perfectly fine! All for a cost of close to $9,000. Thank God he didn't damage all 3 units, they would've tried to hit me for 30 grand easy.

What a big mistake trying to use these guys. I called the HVAC contractor who originally installed everything about 9 years ago and he replaced the compressor for me, using an exact replacement part, with warranty for almost 1/4 of the price.

There is no AC company like this one. We had our central air installed by them 25 years ago and now we are going to do a split system for our lower level because we never addressed it when we did the main floor and top floor. They offer the best service on Long Island and Everyone That I have sent to them has always had great results.

Did a great job install my central ac. Only company that could handle my home as it is difficult to cool. Work was fast and team did a great deal cleaning up each day. Highly recommend

your workers are not only knowledgeable, but take the time to explain everything as they check my systems. They check more thoroughly than any other company. I used Stan Gelber in my former home, and recommend them to everyone in my condo!
