I had a wonderful experience with John Ray & Sons. The whole team was amazing but my sales rep Jackie was a life saver! I had no heat on a Saturday, i had received her flyer and called her thinking i would get her voice mail... she answered the phone!! I didn't know how oil and propane worked and Jackie explained it all to me in very simple terms. I called her 4 times that day to work through all the issues. When Jackie says she's always available by phone, she's not joking! I was in a bind and she was there, even after business hours. I was really stressed because the winter is coming and she made sure i was all set for the cold weather! Priceless customer service.

This company is a SCAM.
They somehow went through a $1000 HEAP grant in one go despite the fact it only costs $250 to fill my tank. Literally the biggest load of scumbags.
They're always hours late, don't even fix what they're supposed to fix and will charge you nearly $200 for 10 gallons of fuel oil. I'll be going elsewhere asap because this company is literally the worst.

Been using John Ray COD dept for about 3 years now. I have to say that they are competitive with COD online pricing being with in a few cents per gallon. If they are over they will match it. Always a pleasant experience with the COD staff and easy to get a fill scheduled. They dont make ya jump through hoops as some other places do. Call, place a order, credit card gets a hold place on it till the delivery, delivery made, card charged. Pretty simple.

Having been with John Ray and Sons for at least a couple of decades I’m glad to say I have been pleased with their product and service. The online bill pay is quick and simple and the office staff are very helpful. I appreciate the heads up for deliveries that are made also.

John Ray and Sons is an outstanding Company..they care about their customers I highly recommend -exceptional customer service!!

I'm not sure if they purposely try to trick customers , It started with the contract , a locked in rate for $2.99 per gallon , received the contract the fixed rate was blank and the contract end date had already passed,
brought this to their attention and they said, its ok just sign it and we'll correct it , I refused . then I was charged a rental fee when I was told there would not be one , first bill came I was charged 40.00 for a service fee to fix a line they broke , I received 50 gallons and the bill was over 300.00 and they charged me a rate of 4.33 per gallon .
This was all within 60 days of a brand new service .
STAY AWAY . DO YOUR RESEARCH . I have all the documents for all of it if anyone would like to see the games they tried to play
