Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning

Been hiring Isaac for the last several years for annual maintenance and service on our gas fireplace insert. We couldn't be more pleased with the Company and, most importantly, with Tyler, our technician. Tyler's the consummate professional: on time, experienced & knowledgeable and does his job thoroughly and quickly. This year, our insert needs its blower motor replaced and we're very relieved that we have Tyler to rely upon to do this big job. Front office customer service has also been excellent throughout the years. Very accommodating and they're always there to take calls. Highly recommend Isaac and if you want the best, ask for Tyler. Had the HVAC technician come out, was very knowledgeable and friendly and completed the repair in under an hour. My only complaint is the price for the repair, he said it was a bad capacitor and it cost me $415. I know capacitors don't cost that much, and it was $110 just for the tech to show up.

Quoted $89.95 for service call. Handed a bill for over $300 and nothing was done or repaired. Tech was a really nice guy. But company communication is awful!

After speaking with the local GM, I had Isaac come back to my home and perform maintenance cleaning the heat exchanger. The normal price for this cleaning was $483 and she agreed to give me a discount of $100 because of the prior miscommunication.

The service was performed and the tech left. The next day the boiler stopped working. I called for service and they called me back to inform me they no longer want to work on my Bosch Boiler. They claim the boiler was not installed properly and feel it is unsafe. Hmmm, they have been at my house multiple times since 2016 for routine maintenance and never said a word prior to now. Why would that be? After paying them $400 on Monday, on top of the $300 I paid them in March it was safe enough for them to take my money. But now will only service it if they install a new one themselves?

I would never recommend anyone do business with Isaac. They have one good technician that serves the entire Syracuse area. He is good, but not even he is happy there. He is not happy working there, I am not happy with their service. And they are not happy unless they get to overcharge you for bad service.

Scam outfit if there ever was one! Stay as far away as possible!

Isaac installed our new furnace three years ago. At that time we were very happy with their promptness, efficiency and the product. Since then our furnace has quit on us three times. When we call them, they aren't able to come out to look at it for up to a week and a half. They advertise they are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week , 365 days a year. Unfortunately that is NOT the case. It has been negative degrees outside when this happens and we can't wait that long, or we would freeze. Fortunately, we called around and found someone to save us. I understand that they might not have the help to meet the needs and demands that happen during the season, but why advertise that you will be there for us when clearly you are not.

Extremely happy with their very professional service. Was ready to purchase a new furnace based on a service call by another company but after having Isaac perform a service call, for a second opinion, they informed me that my current furnace was in very good condition and did not need to be replaced, I value honesty and will stay with Isaac Heating and Air Conditioning.

My 35 year old furnace decided to quit during a cold snap of -11 degrees. I was not really surprised, I had already done homework regarding what a future furnace purchase might look like.

The dispatcher, that took my original call, the repair person, the sales person and the installer were incredibly professional, polite, articulate, knowledgeable people. My options were explained clearly and the sales rep was low pressure and a good listener. I was able to purchase the two stage furnace I was interested in and first thing the next morning, the installer arrived with my new furnace. The installer was very polite, efficient, neat and professional and I was cozy and warm with a quiet furnace later that day.

I was very pleasantly surprised to work with such an outstanding service team. Isaac is top shelf. Based on my experience, I would recommend Isaac to anyone.
