I did a oil to gas conversion on my home and decided to choose s.i. plumbers because of all the good reviews they received. They did the conversion but forgot to finish the job. My new heater now is having trouble starting up and every time I must go into the basement and constantly turn it on and off just to get it started. What's the point of the thermostat if I have to go to the basement to get it started. I've called their facility about 30 times (probably more). After finally getting in touch with someone they sent Delio (who is great) to amend the problem. He told me that he has to come back to finish the job because the cap was to be replaced and never was. I've made several appointments with them to get this finished but they never show up. Now that they have my money they are no where to be found and I'm stuck with a gas heater that doesn't work properly and a job that's not finished. I've left about a dozen messages this week alone and no one returns my calls. I'm about to take legal action against them if they do not finish the job by the end of this week. I've taken several days off from work and no one ever shows or calls. This is ridiculous. I really don't like to write bad reviews on someone and hurt their business but this is ridiculous! It started off good and ended bad. I should of just went with the higher priced plumbers (Alison plumbing) who is up the block from my home. You live and you learn.

Last winter I had a problem with me heat. They came quick gave me a good price and did a great job with the installation. The following winter I noticed that my moulding and wood floors were starting to separate. I call the repair company and they said that the heater that was installed was too big for the house. I got a few different options and all said that the unit is to big. u called S.I. plumbing up they came to inspect it and said nothing is wrong with the heater, just buy some stand alone humidifier.

I spoke to Jay around 9:45am and he informed me that he had one appointment ahead of mine but could be at my house between 11am - 12pm. I agreed, 12:45pm rolled around and not only had he not arrived, there was no phone call alerting me that he would be late. After being forced to call him I was told he would arrive in 20-25 minutes with no apology.

Fast forward to 1:45pm now, a full hour after we spoke and I was told 20-25 minutes, no call - no Jay. Once again, I call him and this time I get no answer of course. Five minutes later I receive a return call from Jay telling me he is right around the corner. I went against my best judgement and decided to let him show for the appointment nearly two hours late.

Once Jay arrived he was told not to turn on the water in the basement, flush the toilet, or check the shower because those caused our flood to begin with. Leaving him alone in the basement to do his thing, again probably against my better judgement. Not 5 minutes go by before Jay has turned on the water in the shower and flushed the toilet flooding my basement. We then had to clean that mess ourselves. At this point we were quoted $500-$600 for a new pump that we told him we needed in the first place. Save yourself the aggravation .

They said nobody can beat their price so I asked them to come for the estimate. Their labor fee is twice more expensive than other company!! He said $350 for changing the faucet and water line, $250 for just changing the faucet. Just for 2 hr labor and we have to buy the parts. I called other guy and his labor fee was $175 for changing the faucet and water line. I just wasted $55 for them to come. Never trust them saying they offer the best price!!

I spoke to the owner Anthony, He helped me so much I was away when My Hot water heater went and My 26 year old son home and He went right over and took care of the problem even helping my son with who to call about the water damage. I will SI Plumbing again when ever something goes wrong in my house again.

I had a sewer back-up front my basement, I called siplumbing standing in 1 inch of water during a rain storm. They had a man at my house within the hour named Randy. Nice guy, he brought a sub-pump and connected it to an outside line. Within minutes water was gone. Fast service, fair prices, will definitely use siplumbing again.
