We have had Long Energy coming to our home since rebuilding after the floods of 2011. They remotely monitor our services so we don't run out. The drivers/delivery people are friendly and efficient. Their budget service is great for spacing out our heavier winter demands thru-out the year. Very happy to have switched to Long after years of being with Esperance LP who did not keep our fuel topped off and caused us to switch to Long.
The thermostat on my hot water tank went and it was causing us to have to reset it each time we wanted hot water. I reached out to Roger Livingston and like they always do without hesitation he connected me with Devon who ordered the part and after a few days it was installed. The team from the first call to the minute the work was done was very prompt and professional with handling the situation.
Long Energy serviced my parents' home for many, many years. The company is absolutely on top of customer service from scheduling, to maintenance and support. Very responsive - even same service when the furnace needed repair. So grateful for the years of service.
Long Energy replaced my failing Amtrol Boiler Mate hot water heater and went the extra mile to be sure I was a priority in an emergency situation and also helped verify and ensure that the lifetime warranty from the manufacturer was honored. The technician, Bill, was incredible.

Long Energy has provided myself and my family with boiler service, in-direct hot water tank, home cooling with ductless split installation, and forced hot air furnace / AC. They have always provided outstanding response time on service and delivered on proposed work on time and on budget and having proven to stand behind all work.
They are and will continue to be my first choice in the capital region for mine and my family’s energy needs.
Horrible company. A technician came out to clean a furnace and I have an oil furnace but he thought it was a gas furnace so I asked if he can still clean it and he told me he can do it. He complained about our furnace’s location but I just let it go at that moment. After a couple of months when I turned the furnace on it didn’t work so I called the company to come out and take a look but they told me they can’t do it because I don’t get the oil from them. I explained the situation about the technician who cleaned our furnace and I should be able to get a service since he took care of the furnace the last. They insisted that they can’t do it because of the liability. It just doesn’t make any sense. He should not have touched our furnace to begin with if they decline the further service. They of course took the money for cleaning, though. A person who took the phone was absolutely obnoxious. I will not recommended this company to anyone who is considering hiring them!

We just moved into a new home and purchased the credit the previous owner had with long. Well long made us fill out their credit application and said they would transfer the credit, never did and then sent a check back to the previous owner who had already been paid that money at closing. After that without being told or ever asked if we wanted autofil they filled our tanks when we did not want them filled. Told my husband they would not take us off autofill and that he was lying about the rate he said the previous owners contract was locked in at. When we then had their tanks replaced by a different company Long came and picked up our two FULL tanks and refuse to give us the money back for the propane in the tanks. They have been nothing but nasty, rude, unprofessional and they are thieves. I suggest to everyone I know and come in contact with to NEVER use this company.
I don't know how I lucked out having Long Energy propane tanks when I bought my house and decided to see how the service was. 3 years later I am and have been completely not just satisfied but amazed at the customer service and care for thier customers. Thank you for helping and caring!
Just had a new Furnace, Hot Water Tank, and AC unit installed all at once. Had a crew in house for 4 days. They did an amazing job, gave me an entire walk through of the work completed each day and company dealt directly with another chimney company to make sure there guys were on-site while there were, just in case anything was needed with the additional chimney liner also installed.
