Chris Long called me personally over a discrepancy and miscommunication and put a lot of effort in making sure I was satisfied before hanging up the phone. We are opting not to change energy providers and to work things out with Long. However I will keep it at 4 stars only because I could have sworn I asked to remove us from automatic payment back in Match of 2022, and later received deliveries when not necessarily needed. So we are switched to will call and are satisfied. I do now recommend this family owned business.

Highly recommend Long Energy! They went the extra mile to get my A/C unit back up and running. I called in a panic due to my A/C unit failing on a 90 degree day. They had a technician at my house within 3hrs. The technician was friendly and very knowledgeable. He was able to get my unit back up and running same day! They are a joke!!!!! Last tenant didn’t pay his bill on time or at all and they are taking it out on us. Ran out of propane on Sunday, had to get an emergency delivery. They claimed they had a tank sensor to refill before it became empty. Then when we run out AGAIN they tell us the $200 we gave them is only for a security deposit and they can’t use that EXCEPT for the fact they told me specifically that it was used towards the first bill. So now at 18 degrees with 2 young kids they are refusing to fill our tank

If I could give a zero I would. Long Energy states over and over how important their customers are, this cannot be further than the truth. They make deliveries unannounced and unasked for, just so they can charge out an outrageous amount. They came and delivered to our home in March 2022 when fuel prices started to sky rocket! One delivery we were charged over $1500 ( remember we never asked for a delivery). I made a point to only pay about half of the bill because I wanted to make sure my family did not get another surprise visit. They came to shut our gas off and charged us another 150.00 for that “service charge”, again without any notice. I feel bad for families that really cannot pay. They are FAR from customer service based. I paid the entire bill and expect them NEVER to come here again. Extremely disappointed and disgusted!!!

Long Energy was incredible. We had 4 different guys come out and each one was knowledgeable, polite, quick and efficient! We called to say we had furnace issues and they put in a new furnace within 24 hours. An amazing company!

I spent $6,000 with Long Energy for a new furnace and it has been a complete nightmare, I never though I would miss that old oil furnace, but at least it kept my house warm.
I purchased and had installed a new furnace with Long Energy. I wanted to get rid of the old gas furnace and switch to propane to have a more reliable heat in the winter, and save money on all the oil. The exact opposite thing happened.
I wake up to find my house freezing and yet the furnace is still running. It runs non-stop. And I have to pay them for all the fuel it uses when it runs non-stop.
I had them come back multiple times, and they would never call back, I had to constantly follow up with them. They would go between putting the blame on my house, and then acknowledging that their installers forgot to install it properly. They never installed the second stage correctly, and one of the installers fixed that, and then the following tech uninstalled it. After a dozen visits, they never resolved the issue.

I had an independent tech come look at it, and he found that the second stage was never converted from natural gas to propane.
I don't like to speak badly of anyone, but I just woke up again to a cold house and could not help but write this.

Woke up a 7 degree morning at 5 am with our furnace not working. We have 3 young children so this was concerning. Called The emergency service number for Long energy, all I can say is wow. They answered, tech calls me right back and they had someone at my house with a few hours and had out heat restored by 11am. This was amazing and I can not thank them enough. What a great experience in a time of need. I highly recommend this company. I have used them for Moana years now. I don’t know if there are cheaper options and I do not care. When it comes to great service and never missing me on a fill it is well worth every penny. Thank you again Long Family and your amazing team!!!!
