Friday came in to check my wall mount heating boiler. The guy told what was wrong but nothing he can do till Monday. He said on Monday they will contact me with a quote. Monday came no call or email
I called them and they told me that they will send it to the manager so the manager can contact me with a quote. Today Wednesday I haven't heard from them. They took 1$144 to basically Nothing .

As timing would have it, my furnace stopped working tonight during a snowstorm. The on-call man, Norm, came from Amsterdam to Schenectady. He was polite and professional and it took him a very short time to determine the problem (of all things the batteries in my thermostat were low). I plan on scheduling a furnace maintenance and hope Norm is the one to do it because he sure knows his stuff.

Jackson and Alvin arrived on time to install our new furnace. They put down drop cloths and got right to work. I thought that there might be a problem when Jackson had to come upstairs to install the new thermostat, as our rescue dog is not fond of service men. However, Jackson was great with Andre and everything went smoothly. Jackson and Alvin finished ahead of the estimated time for installation and Jackson explained the features of the new furnace and thermostat.

I live in a rural area and recently decided to switch from heating oil to propane, which meant a new furnace and water heater. After receiving several quotes and getting feedback from coworkers, I decided to go with Adams. Right away I realized that it was the right choice! Chris came out and gave us a very detailed quote; it wasn’t the lowest price we had quoted but it was 30% less than the most expensive. The level of detail that he provided far exceeded anyone else who quoted the job, I felt very comfortable that I was working with someone knowledgeable and who also had my best interest in mind. Prior to scheduling the work I had to arrange for propane to be installed, and of course while I was waiting for that to happen my oil burning weather heater stopped working. I figured it would be a good opportunity to give Adams a test run and called to see if they could help fix my system at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon. They did not disappoint! A technician stopped by on his way home, fixed my water heater and the service call was incredibly affordable. I was sold, I called and confirmed my order a few days later. Flash forward to install day (only about 10 days later) and it couldn’t have gone any smoother. The guys worked quickly, neatly, and professionally. The work was incredibly well done and I am raving about my new furnace. I highly recommend Adams Heating and Cooling for new installations and service, I know I’ll be a customer for a long time.

They were great when they came out to give me an estimate, pricing was fair and they did not try to oversell me on a system. They were realistic about the systems they had to offer. Once I signed the contract, communication broke down a bit. I had to call the day before to confirm and have my questions answered. Also upon signing the contract, I was promised that they would assist me in filing the rebate-I had to call and email over and over for about a month before it was taken care of. Just seems like they shouldn't promise something in their sales pitch that they have no intentions of following through with. Installation was fine and the system works great.
