I should start by saying that the people working for this business were very nice. My experience with Taylor heating and cooling was a nightmare. Not sure if they are too busy or if it's just pure apathy. Every step of the process was difficult and I needed to fight for everything. Too many issues to list. It would be nice to have the person in the office that I often needed to deal with answer the phone just one time . Every call goes to the answer machine. I paid for a new furnace and hot water tank to go along with my 13k + insulation that the state was paying for. After the installation of the water tank and furnace, they changed the work order for the insulation to half the amount that the state paid for. Once they finally came to do the insulation work, they worked for 3 days and then had my girlfriend who is not on my deed to sign off that the project was completed. Even though it wasn't. Also I found multiple spots that were not spray foamed correctly.
They did fix the missed spots and today they are back to hopefully finish the project. Luis did a great job and seemed very knowledgeable. I'm not mad, but I am disappointed.

Taylor technicians are courteous, on time, and knowledgeable. Experience with the climate, housing stock and issues unique to maintaining a home in the Rochester NY area are invaluable assets.

Friendly, wore the booties to keep the house clean, explained what he checked for and cleaned. The reason it's not 5 stars is that the condensator was making a loud sound around 5pm and had to be turned off. Luckily, my husband is very mechanical and fixed the bottom of it which was loose. He would probably give 1 or 2 stars. I'm giving the young man the benefit of the doubt that he was trying to do his best.

I called the mid-morning and they actually had an afternoon opening. They arrived on time, completed the repair in about an hour, and left without a Trace,. Except for the new pump and warmer rooms! Great service!

Taylor did a fantastic job! They were thorough, professional, and extremely helpful in taking care of our installation. I would highly recommend Taylor for anyone looking for a company that has excellent customer service and very competitive prices. From our sales person to the crew that came to our home to install our heating unit, everyone made our experience amazing!

I called them on the fly as our furnace kept shutting down. They came out the same day and were able to fix the problem. The cost though was far more than I was expecting for being there for 30 min and replacing a rubber hose.

Replaced old 150000 BTU furnace with new 60000 BTU Lennox furnace.
We expressed concerns that a 90000 drop in BTU might be a bit much for this 140 year old house with poor insulation and sealing.
Now we have a lovely furnace that we set at 73 or 74 degrees because it gets quite cold in here with the drafts etc.
I know we need to better insulate and seal, but cannot help but feel a 75k BTU would not have cost much more and would not have to work so hard.
Also, the installers removed the old furnace from the bricks or cement blocks lifting it off the floor. The new furnace is on the floor (with the filter and condensate pump). I am concerned that spring floods only about an inch of water will ruin the new furnace.
Since it was lifted before, insurance may not cover flood damage should it flood again.
I communicated both of these concerns to the technicians and the sales man, but nothing was done.

Furnace issues. Within 1 hour had assessed, gave me the options of repair and repaired the problem. The dogs loved John also!!
