I have had nothing but problems with this company. I am a property manager and when the manufacturer of out PTAC units ceased their repair division they recommended NorWest. They are AWFUL!!!! From missed appointments, to returning units not repaired and charging for services not provided, to dropping my unit down a full flight of stairs and then claiming there was nothing wrong with it. Sent it out for a second opinion and the other company said the unit had multiple problems requiring replacement of parts. The unit originally only had a freon leak which was also never repaired although, when dropped, they were returning it after they claimed it had been repaired. If you want to be given the run around and get ripped off, by all means use them, but otherwise I recommend finding someone else. WinterCool so far has been very responsive and problem free.

I had a perfectly fine experience with them. They came at the exact time of the appointment, diagnosed what was wrong with my unit and fixed it. The receptionist was very sweet and the guys who came out were nice and professional.

When the manufacturer fails to deliver a quality product, Norwest delivers. Purchased an AC in June 2017. They repaired my AC, leaking coolant, to my full satisfaction. Even extended the manufacturers warrant by an additional year. Norwest knows how to keep customers happy. Thank you Maureen and Manny.

I live in NYC. I have a gas fired PTAC. My current unit was very noisy and always breaking down. NorWest sold me an islandaire gas unit. It fit perfectly and the installation was quick. These guys did a great job and I'm so much happier with this new unit.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE/POOR WORKMANSHIP/POOR BUSINESS OVERALL --- to spare you all the details, this company supposedly replaced the compressor in my unit and charged me nearly $1,2000. The unit still does not blow cold air and when I reached out to have them correct their mistake they told me to hire an electrician to make sure there wasn't another issue. I paid an electrician almost $300 to come check the breaker and electrical outlets only for him to tell me that there was a problem with the unit itself. When Norwest's techs finally did show up they told me explicitly that it was an issue with the connections to the compressor not the compressor itself, but that they didn't have the equipment to fix it on sight. The "owner", Manny, called later to tell me that the unit needed to be replaced and when I explained what his techs told me he said he had to speak to them and would call me back. When he never called I called the office and Maureen and Donna lied and said that he was on a conference call. When I asked to leave a message for him they repeatedly hung up on me. Still no word back from Manny; I won't hold my breath. Cannot say it enough, do not work with them they are THIEVES!!!

I was looking for a part for my PTAC and Maureen was amazing. Very responsive and informative. Explained all possible problems and solutions. I definitely recommend using them.

Shame I cant leave a Zero. This company and Maureen put me thru hell, lightly said. In the beginning Maureen was really nice, but quickly became a nightmare to deal with even the workers who came to my house were not big fans. Make a long story short they did nothing to improve my problem. They just wasted my time and gave me Greave. Stay away!!!!!

Horrible horrible company. I swear, I feel helpless. I keep calling them nonstop to service my units that I have bought from them that are defective. I’m in mid summer and sweating in my bed with my wife 😪 All the customer service ppl keep doing is giving me the runaround sending technicians who don’t even speak English properly nor write in English properly assessing the situation and telling me it’s fine. I’m so disappointed, hurt and HOT! Stay away from this company!!! They’re the worst! I can only share my experience, it’s up to you to learn from other people’s mistake... ☠️

Great service with excellent communication throughout the whole process. When there was a follow issue with the PTAC unit, the service was just as prompt. As a customer, I felt taken care of. Recommend!
