THANK YOU DUREA!!!! My a/c unit was running loud so I called for service. I was afraid I would have to wait weeks. Durea was sooooo kind on the phone and was able to schedule an appointment THAT DAY!!!! THANK YOU DUFF!!! Duff was early to the appointment, very professional and personable!! He explained that my air conditioner just needed some cleaning and it was back to running super quiet!! I have a 5 year old central air conditioner from Vastola, which has only needed routine maintenance. Duff could’ve said I needed some major part replacement, I soooo appreciated his honesty!! It’s wonderful to know that Vastola is always there when I need them and they have wonderful people working for them!!

My a/c quit on us Thursday 6/1/23 at 4am in the morning.
Got in touch with Vastola to get a technician here to fix it. Made an appointment for today 6/2/23. Technician Dalton arrived earlier which was great. Checked out my thermostat and determined it needed replacing with a new one. Install was fast and then he made sure my a/c and blower was funtioning correctly. Dalton was very professional and courteus and knew his businees. Glad it was he who came to get our a/c working and I would ask for him again if I needed service.

Everyone we encountered was helpful, pleasant and professional. From Dalton who diagnosed the problem, to Chris Wagner, the sales rep, to Sebastian and Jake who installed the unit, went above and beyond. I would highly recommended the company to anyone we know and would definitely use them again in the future. It is so refreshing to see that people take accountability and pride in their work.

Scheduled a service for Boiler cleaning tech came out asked to turn Boiler on so he could check out Boiler .He said furnace came on once after that Boiler wouldn’t start said he broke a part when cleaning said he would have the part on his truck , but this truck was on for service. Vastola would call the next morning to schedule time to replace part now I get a call this morning saying that they have to order the part will not be in to next week

Scheduled a routine cleaning of our gas furnace where after the tech did the cleaning he was not able to get it working again. Was then charged $300 to have the cleaning and repair done which didn't fix the issue and we were left with no heat over the weekend, we have an 11 month old baby in the house. They sent a salesman who quoted me $7600 to replace the furnace with no other cheaper options being offered. I called another company to come out and look at the furnace and he was able to fix the issue for $800 and got it running again same day without replacing the furnace. I understand that a service needs to be paid for of the tech doing the cleaning, but I don't think its right to be charged for that amount when I was left without a working system. Tried calling to ask for a refund and was offered .5 hours of labor refunded. I never write reviews but this just didn't sit right with me.

I set up our yearly maintenance for our warranty back in March for today (5/12) during the times of between 12-2. I get a call from my husband at 11 saying Vastola was waiting outside our home to start. Luckily I was only a few mins away. The technician did the servicing, and when I was about to pay, he said the cost would be almost $200. I was confused since the email said $96. I showed him the email, and he said he was stepping out to call the office to see what was going on. No one answered so he gave me back my credit card, and said he was leaving her my number for her to call me. My husband then gets a call at work stating that I was refusing to pay. I call back and spoke to Durea, and tried explaining what happened and she kept speaking over me. I never refused to pay, the technician didn’t want to charge me since he had no idea what was going on. I am tired of dealing with her since she clearly has no idea what she is doing. Last year the technician was almost 2 hours late, and she tried saying that I had the times wrong even though I had the email with the times. This year they were an hour early, and she tried blaming the technician since he “was suppose to call before coming over.” I will be looking for a new company to take over the yearly maintenance just so I don’t have to deal with her. At least the technician was nice.

Brian from Vastola Heating and Cooling recently gave me an excellent presentation in my home. At this time I'm considering installing an air conditioning unit. The quote was reasonable and fair and I would recommend calling this company.

18 months into whole new house install I’m forced to spend $1400 because their initial install wasn’t done properly. Refrigerant leak at the exterior of the home due to not being braised properly per other company here now. Don’t want them back at the house because the lady who answered the phone was so brash on the phone and would charge to come look at it because they don’t trust other companies.

Updated review: 5/17 - Vastola still awful. Since my April comment they had to come again for furnance not working. Had to cut pipes. Oh it’s a week later and furnace isn’t working again. It’s Hialrious they commented as if this wasn’t a big deal. And now we can add two more visit to the list. Did I mention my house is only 5 months old?

Old review… This company is awful. Had them in a previous home, the house never got cool enough in summer. Now I am in new build, force to use them bc of builder and one week in to living here during winter storm our furnace breaks. Took them 4 times to diagnose the problem. Blows my mind they installed the system and couldn’t figure out problem. Now first day of warm weather. I turn my air on … oh air does not work. Nothing is working. Clearly problem was never fixed or this wasn’t installed right to begin with. A brand new home with a not reputable heating cooling system is beyond disappointing. Makes me very uneasy to be living in a home with a system not even properly installed.

Needed new furnace and AC system. Came on time and was amazing. Courteous, thorough and quick work. The system works great. The AC system is whisper quiet and cools quickly. Recommend them highly!!
