Nick Shembeda Plumbing and HVAC

We ended up contacting Nick Shembeda Plumbing In September 2020 to replace a ruptured clay sewage pipe in the basement. The associates who showed-up to diagnose the issue and offer a quote of the repair costs were courteous, detailed, and up-front about the extent of the damage, deeming it an urgent matter and thereby potentially putting ‘in front of the line’ of other routine jobs already lined-up.
This job did not turn out to be as affordable as we had initially imagined; the pipe that had burst was clay, and connected to additional clay pipe buried on the outside of the house. This required additional costs for digging-permits and costs to bring in an excavator to dig-up and replace the connecting clay pipe down-the-line.
But thanks to the thorough work of associates, Brian and Mark, we have discovered no lingering issues whatsoever after practically a year later at the moment I write this review, and I am completely satisfied not only with the end-result of this job in particular, but the overall experience of the company they represent, Nick Shembeda Plumbing. Special thanks to Brian and Mark for taking it upon themselves to reposition the washer and dryer in the basement (and electrical conduit) so the appliances could be positioned side-by-side, rather than diagonally across from one another in the corner.
A word of advice for those looking for a cheap solution: These guys do everything up-to-code and to high standards. So if you’re looking for a place willing to cut-corners, you’re likely not going to find that here. Keep in mind that ‘you get what you pay for.’

I am extremely happy with the job done today by Duddley and Chris. I’d been having problems with my old tankless water heater and they installed a new one. They were very knowledgeable and proficient doing the job. They went above and beyond my expectations! They found and fixed leaking pipes which I’m very thankful for. I appreciate a job well done!

The experience was great! Both gentleman introduced themselves and got right to work. They wore footies on shoes to keep carpet clean and took them on and off every time they came in and out. They worked quickly and didn't waste time. They went above and beyond in the work they ended up doing too. They were both friendly, kind, and took time to clean up. They made sure everything was good before leaving and let me know they would come back out if there were problems. They respond quickly to need and get the job done well and quickly. Highly recommend them! We will use in the future if the need arises!

I have 0 complaints. These guys were amazing. Our old tankless hot water combi system had dangerous issues. These guys got us new system, and installed and work was nothing less than A+. Communication was amazing. Allen, Alex and Nikki were remarkable.

I've used Nick Shembeda plumbing on several occasions over the past few years. Alex is the service technician who has responded to my calls. Always professional, knowledgeable/informative and performs quality work - I highly recommend Nick Shembeda plumbing!

Great guys, great experience and all the best equipment. As I write this my problem isn't resolved yet, but it's certainly not the fault of Nick or his guys... the sewer in my 120 year old house is backed up, and they've run 140 feet in without hitting any kind of obstruction. Next step is to try high pressure flushing, and if that doesn't work we'll break out the backhoe and replace the main.... which sucks, but it has nothing to do with the skill of Shembeda plumbing and everything to do with the fact that this house was here before the modern sewer system was even put in.

However this pans out, I'll certainly go back to Shembeda again if I need more plumbing work in the future.

Very pleased with the service and work performed by NS Plumbing and Heating. What started as a simple home repair that I attempted to do, turned south and these guys were at my house in an hour. All told they replaced an 3/4 angle meter waiter main shut off, install new ball valve shut off, performed CO2 cold shot pipe freeze do to the city's damaged curb box and helped install a sink drain. Great service and excellent work- Thank you guys!!!

Nick and Bryan of Nick Shembeda Plumbing and Heating had replaced the pipes leading to my kitchen faucet early this year. They did a great job, so I called them back when my DIY bathroom renovation became too much for me to handle. Nick was excellent about correcting my mistakes without making me feel foolish about trying to do things myself. Nick and Bryan installed all new plumbing and installed my fixtures. They even scoped my whole system with a camera, giving me the peace of mind knowing that my pipes are clean and clear. Long story short: when it comes to plumbing, call a professional. Call Nick.

I called Nick Shembeda and his team thinking that I had a septic leak. His team came out to diagnose the issue, only to find my entire septic was plugged and coming back into the basement. Nick and his team worked tirelessly for 2 days to excavate and replumb my entire house and and lay over 200 ft of new septic to the main town line from my house. His team of great and knowable guys made myself and my family feel comfortable during the whole process, while making sure every detail was done correct and made perfect. While working Nick also noticed a major fire hazard with my furnace and hot water tank. He was able to fix and correct the issue immediately. I don't trust anyone except for Nick Shembeda Plumbing and Heating. You guys are the best!

Nick Shembeda Plumbing and Heating is a great choice. I have dealt with them on a couple occasions. With two different technicians at my home I have experienced the same situation. Professional, attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous people. You can't beat them, truly.
