Richie Bros. HVAC

We had Richie Bros install a replacement AC unit in our attic. Overall had a great experience. Chris was very responsive - they filed all required paperwork for us and install was very clean and quick. Gil, Alex and Chris did a great job on the install.

Adding to a former review. Richie Bros recently installed 4 new AC units. Chris and his team of installers were (once again) excellent. Professional, reliable, organized and provided great communication throughout the process. They could not make it easier or more efficient-getting the permits, organizing the electrician, etc. And, most importantly, the work is top notch. Fantastic service, highly recommend!

We recently had an AC replacement by Richie Bros. They are great to work with and I highly recommend. Our town has new permitting issues for AC and they made this process as easy as possible due to their great communication and organization. Chris is wonderful to work with! The installers Chris and Dillon were very professional and did a fantastic job. Richie Bros is great and I recommend!

Richie Bros did two major HVAC installations efficiently and meticulously! They were absolutely wonderful to work with-very professional and responsive. They are the best HVAC company I dealt with in my 35 years of living in my house.

Our 28 year old AC system died in the midst of a July heatwave. Chris at Richie Brothers came to our rescue and evaluated and installed the new system in short order while we were on vacation. It was a great relief to return to find the house comfortably cool. They coordinated the village approvals, electrical contractors and completed the job quickly, efficiently, and most importantly professionally with no mess or loose ends. We highly recommend.

The staff at Richie Bros. HVAC have always been responsive, professional, and helpful. I have worked with them for more than 20 years. Most recently, Chris S. came to my house the day after Hurricane Ida, assessed the flood damage to my furnace, and then suggested an appropriate replacement. He got an estimate prepped quickly, and the install was done in a timely manner. The installation staff couldn't have been nicer or easier to work with. I can't say enough good things about Richie Bros., and Chris S. is the best! THANK YOU to everyone on the staff there.

Amazing experience. Called them when our AC died and Chris came right away to evaluate. It was on the hottest day of the year so far and despite being super booked, they rearranged their schedule to get us in right away since we were desperate and would have had to move out. A day later, the team (Chris, Gil, Anthony, Clive, Gideon) installed a whole new system. They were meticulous, clean, respectful, and diligent. Chris texted me every step of the way and was incredibly responsive. They showed us everything they did and fixed other issues that were apparently wrong with the hookup/ drain of the old system. Moreover, the new system is so much stronger and cooler at the same temperature than our old system! Couldn’t be happier with the service and installation. Thanks again, guys!

It’s obvious why Richie Bros has such an excellent reputation - it holds true! We had an emergency situation with an old water heater, installed by a different plumber. On a late Friday afternoon, Richie (the owner) returned my call immediately to try and troubleshoot the problem. Within the hour of speaking to Richie, he came with Chris. I appreciated that Richie came to evaluate and ensure the servicing was done properly since we have a complex setup with geothermal heating/cooling. Chris was very polite and did an excellent and efficient job addressing the problem. I was extremely impressed by their professionalism, honesty, responsiveness and attentiveness. They were reliable and dependable too - highly recommend them!!

So pleased with our Mitsubishi ductless system that was recently installed by Richie Bros. We met with Dillon who is extremely knowledgeable, professional and courteous. He handled coordinating permits/inspections with our town. Dillon along with his technicians James, Percy and Anthony installed the system timely and efficiently. They were available to answer any questions we had throughout the install. The system works beautifully and we're so glad we did it - I highly recommend Richie Bros!

I had Richie Brothers replace my existing HVAC system and install new AC compressors. Before hiring them, I had a few HVAC crews come by to assess and bid for the job. Walking through the house with Richie (the owner) felt more like a walkthrough with an engineer than just a technician trained to replace parts. He has an expert understanding of HVAC as well as tangential disciplines of plumbing, and natural gas that allow him to really see how the whole system should work together, and how to optimally build it. The system he recommended for me was simple, but robust and seemed very logical. The other crews I brought out did not see the things he saw, and once I had seen Richie's design the others didn't make sense. Talking through options with Richie, it is clear that after a life in the business, he has seen what works, and what doesn't. The installation process and dealing with his team lived up to my high expectations and I am very satisfied with the work. I highly recommend anyone looking at getting work done to meet with Richie. I found him to be very impressive, and a great person to work with.
