Was hit with entire AC shutdown on the hottest days of the summer. Andy worked with us and provided temporary relief by leaving a portable unit which saved the days. Andy analyzed our needs and current deficiencies by thoroughly applying his technical expertise. He worked with us and was totally transparent and professional before each decision was made. No surprises just great work and it is obvious that he has a lot of passion for what he does and is sensitive to the needs of his customers. He is an eager young entrepreneur with integrity and will do what it takes to make you a customer for life. He followed up about a week after the install was completed to make sure we were satisfied with how the new system was operating. I am in a service business and he scores the highest marks in my opinion and I reserve that for only the best. If you want to avoid the unscrupulous, fast talking, high priced big names in the HVAC business that you are probably familiar with by seeing their trucks all over your neighborhood do yourself a favor-call Andy at Strikehard Mechanical. Long Island needs more honest and sincere people like him to restore our faith in contractors.
P.S. I also had a plumbing problem at the same time with two toilets breaking at the same time. Andy quickly called his friend Louis for me and within hours on a Sunday his friend came and repaired both toilets and didn’t even think of suggesting additional charges for a Sunday emergency!
What more can I say other than these guys deserve your business.

I had a problem with an older central air-conditioning unit. To repair it every company I called wanted to charge me almost as much as a new unit would cost to replace it...you can guess what they wanted me to do...Andy came when he was supposed to, found the problem and fixed it for a reasonable price. He could have steered me to a new unit like the others but he knew it wasn't necessary. Honesty and integrity are words that can't be applied to a lot of service companies. Strikehard and Andy earn those descriptions and I can't recommend them enough. My AC is working better than when it was new. Thank you, Andy.

I installed a ductless cooling and heating system. Andy came the day I called and quickly assessed what would be involved. Highly recommend this company. meticulous quality, priced fairly. I needed it pretty quickly and he was able to turn it around in a few days.

Wow! I had an HVAC emergency and he pulled through. I thought the problem was much bigger, and was prepared to shell out tons of money. He walked me through what was wrong, and immediately corrected it. His honest and integrity are 100 and I recommend him to anyone who needs any AC hvac or plumbing issues.
