We are somewhat new to New York and purchased our home almost a year ago. Of course we instantly found that things were not disclosed or discovered during the inspection and we had tons of repairs to do. Nicole shared a program through NYSERDA with me and we applied and qualified for a ton of money saving updates to our home. Buffalo Energy was quick to schedule, quick to do the work, and very professional every step of the way.
My husband and I used to manage apartments, so we’ve worked with plenty of companies. Buffalo Energy is BY FAR the best company we’ve had the pleasure of working with. When our new boiler was giving us some attitude, they quickly walked us through the process of resetting it over the phone, and then came over to make sure it was working properly.
They replaced our boiler, set us up with a tankless water heater, are laying new plastic under the house, and they’re insulting our house - basically top to bottom.
Every single person we’ve had the pleasure of working with at Buffalo Energy has been incredibly helpful, nice, and respectful. We absolutely will be using them for any future money saving projects our house might need.

I was very impressed at the way Ken went out of his way to help me. The other company's that came into my house were very respectful and made me feel good about what they were doing. The wonderful gentlemen that put my furnace in were funny, as they were working they were making jokes and you know that your employees are happy when they can laugh together. When they came to my house they were on time and cleaned up every bit of their mess. I would HIGHLY recommend Buffalo Energy! Thank you Ken and your crew!!!

Buffalo Energy was the only company out of 3 I had called that was able to pin point what was wrong with my fireplace. They fixed it on their first time out and at an affordable price. Their techs were knowledgeable, polite, and professional. I thought I smelled something and they sent out a tech immediately. Turned out the odor was from lack of use and was gone within an hour but Russ came by anyway to take a look and set my mind at ease.....I highly recommend Buffalo Energy

When our AC died about a month ago, we got some estimates for replacing it but weren't comfortable with any of the companies that came. We really wanted our trusted AC Contractor to do the job but he moved to Buffalo, NY a few years ago. We got in touch with him to see if he could recommend someone and as it turned out...he was actually willing to come down and do our replacement! Thank you Buffalo Energy for making necessary arrangements for Russ to come down and install our new system! We cannot thank you enough! We have piece of mind, knowing it was done properly and we love our new Reme Halo.

What a great team! From the initial consultation straight through to the follow-up, everyone was courteous, professional, polite, and efficient. I was given updates from the crew throughout the day, the manager stopped by to thoroughly check the work and go over the progress, and at the end of the day the work areas were spotless!! Amazing crew! We were able to get a new furnace & central air unit. Plus blown in attic insulation! They took care of spray foaming between the top of the basement walls & plate of the house walls. They really helped us make our house very efficient. We are so thankful!! If your house heating bills and electric from air conditioners are very high you may want to give them a call. The financing was very easy & at a low interest rate. So now our house is very sellable, if we ever decided to move. I bought pizza the days each crew worked because they worked so hard. I am so glad I choose Buffalo Energy, Inc to come out and do my energy audit. Shane explained in detail everything that needed to be done to make my home more efficient. Their employees were on time, in uniform, and went above and beyond to make sure the work was done correctly. I have already seen a drop in my electric bill!! I will definitely call them again for service and referred them to my neighbors and family!!

Had these guys come out last year and work with me on installing my new furnace. They were professional, explained everything and went above and beyond on the work. It all started with a WiFi thermostat and turned into a whole new install of a furnace and water heater. Justin and the crew was great!

After attending the Buffalo Home show in Buffalo this weekend and seeing the Buffalo Energy crew there, I decided to post this review. I purchased a new HE Furnace and central air conditioning unit back in October of 2018. Following the free energy audit that discovered areas where energy efficiency can be improved down to a drafty outlet, I decided I would contract my needed work to Buffalo Energy. Within two weeks, work installing my new heating and cooling was underway. Many reviewers have posted that work was hurried and I did not find this to be the case. The Buffalo Energy installers arrived to my home around 8 am and it was well after 6 pm when they completed the work. The installers kept me posted about their progress throughout the install and when they were complete, showed me what was done and demonstrated the equipment for me. My basement was left as if nothing transpired down there with the exception of my large old furnace gone and exhaust ductwork that was no longer needed. My chimney was sealed up nicely and the Buffalo Energy crew even sealed some areas around my hot water tank that could have cause potential carbon monoxide backup into my basement from improper sealing by the plumber who installed it. The new PVC plumbing for intake and exhaust was nicely placed between my floor joists and out of the way should I want to ever finish the ceiling.

I replaced my old 80% efficiency 110,000 BTU furnace system installed in 1980 with a HE 96% efficient 65,000 BTU unit. I was skeptical at first about the significant difference in BTU, however, the man who came to give the estimate explained that the previous owners of the home installed a system much to large for my house which can actually create problems. I can assure you that the 65,000 BTU unit is plenty sufficient for my home after having the unit installed for its first winter. In fact, my downstairs is warm and my upstairs gets so warm that we've actually closed some duct vents. We keep our home set between 68 and 70 (on exceptionally cold days). The unit has no difficulty keeping that temperature steady and runs minimally. As for cost savings, in September 2018, my National Fuel Gas bill budget amount was $105. This month, my account was re-analyzed, and my budget amount has dropped to $57 (pictures attached). My National Grid budget amount also dropped. In September 2018, I was at $81 per month and has decreased to $37. Although my house is well insulated, much of these savings have to be related to the new equipment. Although I only used the AC for a few weeks before colder weather settled in and I anticipate my electric budget amount to increase, I think the higher efficiency AC unit will minimize the impact.

Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience with Buffalo Energy. Within HOURS I received a reply to my email back in January when I needed duplicated of my paid invoice to submit for rebates associated with installing the new equipment. I have not had any service needs as the equipment has worked flawlessly so far. However, should I need any service for my HVAC and the experience is less than optimal, I will post here!

Justin was very helpful with our decision to go with a tankless hot water system. He was knowledgeable and he went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. Install went quickly, the team did a great job.
