Emerald Heating & Cooling

This was my initial experience with Emerald, and I am very satisfied with the performance and professionalism of the company My technician was Matthew Bennefield, and he explained what his tasks were and in clear detail. For that I am appreciative. I intend to consult Emerald in the near future.

Amber was the tech who came to check our furnaces to ensure they were operating efficiently. She was amazing! She was personable, professional, and very informative. She not only evaluated both of our furnaces but also checked our humidifiers and explained why they weren't working well. She changed the drip filters and showed us how to turn humidity on for the winter and off for the summer. She was very clear when she explained things so that we understood. I would recommend Emerald Heating and Cooling and especially Amber as the best tech ever!!!

I've used emeralds 4 times in 6 months now, 2 service calls (Alex and Will), 2 estimate (Justine), 2 installation: furnace & A/C (Doug and Kevin). All of their staffs I have encountered are professional, patient, knowledgeable and helpful. I've over 30 yrs old furnace and A/c and it's not easy to remove and install them as I live in a townhome with very small space where the furnace located but their tech made it work. I especially appreciate of their super quick response to any service call I've made, and extra kudos to their politeness. Price is also very reasonable with quality of work. That's why I keep going back to them. They made me feel I'm on good hands. I have already and will always recommend them to any of my friends

We've used Emerald Heating and Cooling twice now, most recently to replace our outdated AC system. Justine, who came out to assess our system and provide an estimate, was wonderful. She arrived promptly at the agreed upon time and could not have been more informative and courteous. Our tech Kenny Sobus was excellent. He arrived on time and did a walk through with me to make sure we were all on the same page as far as the work being done. He got right to work and did a fantastic job replacing the system. He then hung around to make sure the system was sufficiently cooling our house. It's been a few days since we had the work done and thus far everything seems to be going as planned. We would highly recommend Emerald--they are not pushy or salesly at all, and they do what they say they are going to do. We will continue to use their services.

Doug and Kevin did an awesome job on my furnace and a/c unit installation.. very professional, kind and took pride and what they do!! Highly recommend these 2 guys on the job site should you ever use emerald!!

Scheduled a maintenance visit on my boiler. Tech arrived and preformed maintenance. I made the error of not informing Emerald I felt I had a possible exhaust or gas leak. Tech informed me they would check it all out. He felt that I may have a small leak but he did not have sufficient equipment to deal with the situation. I found it surprising they would send a tech to work on a gas boiler without equipment to deal with natural gas. I called the office which picked up as Zenner and Ritter and informed them that my boiler was now not usable. In their defense, they did offer to send someone back out but due to the tech simply leaving while a gas leak is ongoing, subpar service from their office staff, I am electing to move on to another service.

Update: another service showed up to fix the mess that was left. According to the other service, my pilot tube was broken by emerald and left my home with a gas leak situation. I’ve since relayed this information to Emerald with no response from the company.

Very professional and responsive! Had a problem with thermostat and they fixed it the same day. Very nice and easy on the phone as well. Thank You!

Our Technician Will Fullagar came out as soon as he could to repair our Air Conditioner on this extremely hot day. He was very professional and friendly. I would recommend this company and recommend using him!! Great customer service!

Eric was very helpful and informative as he walked me through the repairs needed on my Split AC unit. He repaired the unit in a timely manner and was very polite. Great job! I would recommend Emerald Heating and Cooling.

I will first start by saying Emerald is a top company. From the receptionist and mechanics to the technicians and owner, I have nothing but good things to say. We had Alex a technician out in 2021 for an AC tune up for the summer and with his crew they did a really great job. It gave us peace of mind that we were ready for the summer. The second job from Emerald was the installation of a combo tankless hot water and boiler system. After installing there were a few issues that crept however Emerald was on it. That night they sent Alex the tech to figure out the computer issue on the unit and after he left, nice hot water! A couple weeks later Mark was back to button up the project and left me feeling incredibly thankful I hired Emerald for my heating needs. This company is highly recommended and I would absolutely hire them again.
