Was quoted $129 to come out to look at my furnace. Unscrewed 1 screw that took 2 seconds and charged me another $50 to tell me that I had a bad heat exchanger. (Without actually looking at the heat exchanger)
Then he went on to tell me that it was going to be around $3000 to change the heat exchanger(quoted 6 hours work) or about $5000 to replace 7 yr old furnace.
Called another company which came out at 11 PM same night. Entered the furnace serial number into some phone app and told me that the heat exchanger was covered under warranty and it will only take an hour to swap it out.
My advice. Take your business elsewhere.
