Sean installed a new hot water heater for our new home, replacing an old and inefficient existing one. Every step of the process with Sean - from initial contact through installation - was seamless and professional. He communicated everything he was going to do/was doing throughout the installation and made himself available to answer any questions we had. He even worked late into the night on a Friday to ensure it was fully installed for us before Thanksgiving holiday family arrivals. I would gladly use Sean again and highly recommend him! Smaller outfit with WAY better quality, service and value than you'll find with larger outfits. Service was transparent, honest, thorough and I didn't feel like I was being taken to the cleaners. McCann showed options, educated me and showed me how to prioritize my heat/AC and ductwork needs between now and next winter based on my unique set of circumstances. Will be calling them for every maintenance, service and project we have.

Over the last two years I have spoken with Sean many times on many different projects. Although I did not use him previously because I was skeptical of using a small contractor. This time, I decided to take a chance on Sean and have him install a Pioneer Split unit. Sean ran the cables neater than I would do it and installed a cement pad, even though a plastic one was the standard.

Sean was diligent and made sure everything was installed properly.

His pricing was fair and although the job took a lot longer than expected due to the way my house was laid out, he did not ask for a penny more than his quote.

I am impressed by this young man so much that I would absolutely recommend him to my friends and family.

Originally I was quoted three times the amount Sean charged by McClurg (who is working on building an addition to my house). Sean is a trustworthy man who keeps his word and finishes the job.

We live in Cazenovia and hired McCann Mechanical to install a new York AC and Heating system in June 2022. Sean was excellent from start to finish! In fact, he has so many qualities that it's hard to list them all. Nevertheless, I’ll mention a few. The first is clear and prompt communication. He always responded immediately to messages. I also really liked that he would provide a heads up before he was coming to our place, just so we were prepared. Second, he leaves the job site very clean. I’m a bit of a neat freak and this aspect meant a lot to me. Third, his price was more reasonable compared to another company. Fourth, he’s friendly and answers questions thoroughly. Finally, he has excellent attention to detail. Indeed, Sean goes over and beyond. He even stayed a bit longer at the end of his job to attend to some of the aesthetic aspects of the job. I would definitely hire Sean for another job and would recommend McCann Mechanical to others as well.

Sean was a lifesaver. My elderly dad's furnace broke and after calling many different heating places and being told they were all book up and leaving many messages Sean called and said he had an opening.

Sean McCann is prompt, He ran a new gas line into my house. Saved my life actually. The old pipe was leaking into my basement. He came out and installed my new pipe with the correct dimensions. The install job of this man was amazing. He anchored it to the house and did an amazing job ensuring each joint would no longer leak. I would recommend him over and over again. Extremely knowledgeable of his craft. Would recommend him over and over again! Came out in short notice, and even gave a military discount. True supporter of the men and women of uniform.

McCann also provided the most reasonable estimate I had received for the services I was looking for. Sean did a great job installing a tankless water heater in my house. After he sent me a quote, he did a little more research and found one of his suppliers had a newer model which was cheaper and easier to install. He also worked around my schedule and started the install on a Sunday afternoon, finishing up the next morning. I would not hesitate to use McCann Mechanical again or to recommend them to a friend.
