Jim O'Donnell is thoroughly knowledgable, his men, Tim, Nick and Jeff, were excellent at their jobs and so nice! They went the Extra mile when we ran into even more problems and were finished on time! I am certain I received the BEST service at a fair price and I made sure I called everyone I knew to spread the word on how thrilled I was with their work! You absolutely cannot find a better team in Buffalo to install your steam boiler! I highly recommend

Have been using O Donnell Heating & Air for years. Jim and his staff are great and I am a very satisfied customer. Recently had new furnace installed and have had other work done by O'Donnell as well.

My furnace gave up the ghost about 15 hours ago. Called and spoke to Jim at O'Donnell, he guided me through the options and offered a great price for a replacement unit. The guys who did the work did so quickly and without leaving an unsightly mess. Time and quality of service without an emergency repair fee helped soften the blow of a surprise repair like this. Highly recommend these guys to anyone who require this kind of service.

As an addendum, my second HVAC repair was just completed. My furnace went on the coldest day and to maintain the pattern my central air quit on the hottest. Same results: quick, efficient and pleasant to interact with. Thankfully it was just a repair and not a full replacement, but regardless I will use them again. Just hopefully not any time soon. This company is very professional in all our dealings with them. They recently installed a new furnace and a new hot water tank. They were right on time; very friendly; very informative and completed the work in the predicted time frame. Everything was cleaned up and the operation of the equipment was explained to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend this company.

From the moment I spoke with the scheduler in the office to my contact with the service men, the experience with O'Donnell was easy and pleasant. I am a new customer, yet was given same-day service. I originally called for service to my furnace/AC because water was leaking from the hoses. I'd also lost hot water so needed the tank inspected. When Justin arrived, he immediately determined that the hose leak was simply caused by a switch in the fuse box that was off. Next he discovered melted wires, which he showed me, in the hot water tank,. They replaced the tank the next day. As they were getting ready to leave I noticed water gushing in the sump area. Justin attempted to make an adjustment, but when that failed he turned off the back-up pump that was malfunctioning and arranged for a plumber to call me. That evening the plumber, Kevin, stopped by and explained in detail the cause of the problem with the back-up pump. As soon as he is able to get a new part he will be back to do the repair. The patience, courtesy, workmanship, attention to detail, and integrity of the O'Donnell staff and crew is outstanding. I will be calling them soon to do a maintenance check on my furnace.

O'Donnell Heating & Clg Inc. recently installed a Lennox furnace in my home. The technicians arrived on time and they put down tarps to protect my floor in the foyer and the carpeted stairwell to the basement. They gave me an overview of my new furnace and both were friendly and courteous. Everything was done in a reasonable period of time and they even scheduled a truck to stop by later to take away the old furnace. Cleanup was excellent. I would highly recommend this company!

Last spring, while the temps were still cool enough to require my furnace to run, and while I was working from home due to COVID, I started noticing a bit of a smell while my furnace was running. It wasn't very strong, but enough that it was disturbing to my nose. My forced air furnace at the time was 42 years old, so figuring I probably had a small crack in the heat exchanger allowing some gas to escape, I decided it was time to replace it. I've never had central air, only two window ACs that I had to bring up from my basement and take back down again every season. I'm not getting any younger, and it was starting to get harder to carry those two units up and down the stairs, so I decided to get central AC as well.

I brought in 4 different HVAC companies for estimates. I heard about O'Donnell from a co-worker and decided that they would be one to bring in. Jim, the owner, was the first one I brought in. The first thing he said to me was that his company would be the least expensive one. I thought that was sort of cocky of him, but after listening to the other three companies, sure enough, O'Donnell was the least expensive for the value of the products. I also found out that a friend of mine uses O'Donnell for their annual maintenance, and they loved him, so I decided to go with Jim and his company.

Jim's three man crew came in, removed my old furnace, installed the new furnace, and installed the new AC, all in about 5 hours. Not too shabby. While it was pretty late in the season for using the AC, I've had a few warm days, and the AC has been great. I've also now had to use the heat a number of times, and that has been working well too. I'm very pleased with my purchase, and will use O'Donnell again for my maintenance.

We had a new furnace installed in August of 2016 and the employees of O'Donnell were very courteous, and helpful to us. They were efficient and friendly and did everything that we asked them to do, and they completed the work in a timely fashion. I would recommend them for a furnace replacement anytime. Thank you
