Destin, our plumber, was the kind of person you hope they'll send you. He wasn't satisfied until the drain was leading directly into the septic tank, so he went above and beyond to eliminate the roots. He first called me and I told him what he had uncovered, and then he called my husband and told him. He arrived on time, was very cordial, and helped me through my plumbing issues despite my complete lack of knowledge.

It's been 13 years since I became a homeowner. The roots of the liquidambar tree in the parking lot are famously aggressive, so I had Brooklyn Plumber & HVAC Services come out and clean the main sewage line. After realizing I had neglected this for three years, I finally made the call to arrange maintenance. The first technician who came out, Destin, ran the shower and examined the toilet to see if there was an urgent problem; he found neither. While visiting my home, Destin took great care to wear protective gear to prevent contracting COVID-19. Destin assured me that I did not require quick assistance and that it would not cost me anything if he departed. Even though I liked it, I'd rather perform upkeep than find raw sewage gushing out of my drain. Destin did the cleaning and informed me that he had discovered an obstruction in the roots.
